@Scde2: *whack* Be nice!

@Shock: Actually, here, take this key.
*Hands key to Shock*
Universal One-Time Mech key. Head to the hanger and take one for a spin.

@Unusual -
I've built 2 small decoy fortresses!
They almost look exactly like the rela thing - but [sub] and here's the great bit [/sub] they're slightly smaller!
[sub] Boy am I glad I made a matter copier... [/sub]
Also, they lack most of the important bits, but they're pretty similar to the real thing.

If I press control C on my keypad, I can do it again! (Give me the supplies...) Everytime its done however, the decoys are weaker.

And hang on a min....my rebuild (this one) hasn't been destroyed yet. Unless I somehow missed it, and started rebuilding my rebuild.

Well, decoys.

@Mad: I hope they are not too close to the original. I've already had a problem with reverse engineering, especially regarding my somewhat meaner equipment.

Nice thinking though with the two decoys. May be incredibly useful later....

@Unusual - No, effectivly its like using the 'copy & paste' function on MSWord.
just, bigger, and with considerably far more firepower.
Just, don't copy something too much. Once we get to say, the 9th, it'll effectivly be like the fortress is made of dust.

[sub] I know! We could have battles with them! [/sub]

@Mad:......OK. I guess that is acceptable.

Though I'm not sure I agree with them all having fully functioning firepower. I mean, if one of them gets out of hand, I don't want to be blamed for some needless destruction over a country or something.

@Unusual - oops.
Sorry, I didn't explain it clearly - what I meant was, they have the imortant systems like engines and life support, and self defence - but no offensive weapons. At most, the decoys (if used in the wrong way) could machine gun a small town, but not much else.

I suppose someone could crash them into the ground, obliteraring something the size of Cardif [sub]not much then![/sub] but - they'd need a full and complete crew to pilot it. (As, in the decoys, the bridge 'technically' doesn't exist, so people have to work manually in the specific bays...)

[sub] the thing about firepower was a joke - as I had referenced it to MS Word...oh well, I'll stay away from the standup comedy area... [/sub]

@Mad: Comedy does not work on the internet unless you are known as such.
Its funny like that.

And as long as they can't start their own personal wars or whatever, I'm happy.

No, they are unable to do so.
[sub]*quickly removes the copied versions of Tharwen's personality cores to prevent the decoys from playing high explosive bumbercars with each other*[/sub]

Ok, having set of 2 decoy fortresses - I'm going to rest in my workshop. And make some new weapons. 'Cos, everything is better with firepower.
