Nope. Was probably some idiot trying to make a joke about how a person's depression makes them like-minded with a minority social culture group that have often been accused of self-harm and associated with a lack of any positive emotion.

Well then, the badge can either be a genuine plea that someone wants you to be happier, or a derogatory joke based on that sub-culture and the emotional associations of that sub-culture. If it's the former, then you can take pride in that someone cares enough to do something like that for you, if it's the latter, then take your vengeance.
