In some ways (unless I'm an idiot and missed it) I am surprised that no one has mentioned my choice. In other ways (similar to the issues presented by the Endless) I am not. At the moment if it where possible I would chose to be Doctor Manhattan.
I'm not surprised no one but you picked him yet, with infinite power comes the possibility of infinite boredom, especially when you know everything that will ever happen to you at all times.

Speaking of infinite power...
?The plastic tips at the ends of shoelaces are called aglets. Their true purpose is sinister!? It haunts me to this day every time I tie my shoes...
An alternative character choice: The Question. No superpower, no tool-belt, only knowledge and investigative mind.

[b/]I am Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my works, ye Mighty and despair![/b]

I mean, people have mentioned Doctor Manhattan, but that seems like a mistake to me. He really doesn't get any satisfying experiences in Watchmen. His life, before and after the lab accident that creates him, is controlled by others. He describes himself as a "puppet who can see the strings", which sounds horrible to me.

Adrian Veidt, on the other hand, is rich, successful, charismatic, and for his part, he seems to enjoy it. He's two steps (or 35 minutes) ahead of everyone the whole time. Arguably, without spoiling anything, he's the one who wins (as best as one could in Watchmen) by the end. I can't see any comic book character whose life I'd want to experience more than his.

That's because it would be horrible. Is it any wonder the good doctor is so displaced from humanity?

Also, guy named The Riddler wants to be Ozymandias. That is epic.

Dr. Manhattan
He is a nigh invulnerable god/man creature and his nemesis are guys in tights and Richard Nixon.
He is kind of detached of mankind, but who wouldn't be if it was capable of creating life by whim.

For this i'm torn between a few. Gambit from X-Men, X-23 from the same comic, and Jackie Estacado from the Darkness. But my two top would have to be Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy or Sarah Pezzini from Witchblade. I just adore them too much.

Lobo

Not the new douche Lobo, but straight up, no non-sense 'Bastich' owning Lobo. Smoking Cigars and taking bounties and saving space Dolphins!

would have totally said Lobo if I wasn't torn between imagining me as Lobo. scary thought.

As much as I really, REALLY want to say Spider-Man, his life is complete shit. Sure, he's had a lot of pretty good looking girlfriends, and he's even friends with just about everyone in the Marvel Universe, and I absolutely love his powers, but with all the stuff that's happened to him, I wouldn't want to go through that.

But man, looking at just Mary Jane, let alone some of his other girlfriends, including Mrs. Marvel, it's seriously tempting.

Franklin Richards. He is in the ultimate celebrity power family, has all the coolest toys, and he'll probably outlive the death of this universe and the birth of the next, right beside Galactus.

Lucifer from the Vertigo comics.

Extreme cunning and the ability to make all of reality my play thing seems extremely appealing to me.
