Wii Sports: There's a lot of waggling and it's broken more than one television.

Sonic adventure: Fast, a bit of a mess, and an unexpected minigame about raising a baby... chao

Star fox 64: Several ways to reach the end, but they all involve barrel rolls.

Bioshock: Weak third act

Shenmue: Needs a lot of help and directions to find the (too) quick time events

Pokemon: Not much difference between version, but the black one is better

I have to be honest I didn't think of that. I meant pointless as in the expression not...like a...well you know.
Assuming I meant it like that...I have absolutely no idea how that might work. Maybe someone will figure it out one day.
