If living things count then I would save my GF if not then my computer. Although I kinda feel bad for our cats *sadface*.

well my parents are divorced so i'll pick an item from both places

from Dad's: My Laptop.

from Mum's: my pet rat's cage, he's inside it and he'll have a place to live if the house burns down completely.

My laptop, otherwise I have insurance good insurance so the entire house would be replaced and every thing inside.

I would save my house. It's an item >_> _>

if nothing else, if my family was alright, it'd be my computer. I'm not going to go through hell to get all my programs and games and music back.

My hard drives. I have 2 external and the internal ones are on special rails for quick removal so I can easily save all of them in less then 30 seconds.

Assuming your not counting pets, there's not really anything I'd risk my life for. It's all replaceable.

Yeah, assuming my pets are smart enough to get out of the house themselves, I'd save my PC.

My house. I would use a hose, someone would use the hose on the other side, & the ohter 2 adults would use the neighbor's houses.

Okey, seriously.... I would, in one armful, save the custom drawings & crafts people have made for me. They're located next to eachother & are the only things in the house that can't be replaced.

I would save my cat first, while dad saves "the brown box"(it's what we call our box with all the deeds to all our properties, credit card numbers, account numbers, assurances, and all the paperwork worth saving)
If he's not around then I hope the Pety, the cat, does the right thing and runs away from the flaming building, because those documents are pretty important.
As a third item...probably the PC although... I would be a lot safer just to let it burn and buy a new one.

But the one thing I'm surprised that anyone in this thread would leave behind, is their wallet. How do you live when you don't have any identification?!
See people, was I was talking about!(although all my essential ID and copies to are stored in "the brown box")

My dog, that stupid thing'd probably fall asleep 'cause he loves the heat >_>

If he was already outside, say, barking at birds, probably a few select pieces of jewelry. I don't think I'd be able to choose the one, so it'd have to be 3 :p
Sentimental value through the roof!
