i cant imagine cutting all connections to my kid for something like that, sure if my kid became a cashier or pornstar i wouldn't be proud, and i properly wouldn't tell anyone about it either, for me to even imagine cutting all connections it would had to be something extreme, like if they became a mass murder or something out there.
heck even if my kid became a drug dealer i would still be there for them, and give them some fatherly advice like "don't sell to children and teenagers are stupid they are willingly to pay 3 times what its worth", thats not to say that i would accept it, i would of cause keep dropping hints about new jobs and stuff like that, but i wouldn't want to lose contact whit my kid.
now that i think about it, even if my child became a mass murderer i would still visit, it would have to be ala stalin before i wouldn't.
