If you're left-handed, you're prone to schizophrenia.

Oooh..would you mind me asking more questions? I don't mean to make you uncomfortable, I've always wondered about a lot of things, this being one of them.
Ask away, I figure this is a better way to learn than by looking on a site like wikipedia.
Thank you :) I figure this is a better way to learn than going second-hand and being misinformed into thinking stuff like "OMG HES LEFT-HANDED RUN!!!111"...or something like that >_>. Anywho, you don't have to answer if you don't want to, I don't want to make things awkward.
With that out of the way, on to the questions.
1. What do the voices sound like?
2. Do they have own, distinct personalities?
3. Do they come out of nowhere at any time?
4. Does it happen that they know things you don't/had forgotten?
5. What generally do they say?

Hope those questions are okay

Gosh! A lot of people here are left-handed. Anyway, I don't see why we should assume something without proper evidence....

Yes, and people with an extra Y chromosome are prone to be serial killers. These far-fetched hypotheses were debunked by Science years ago.

Well, that... explains quite a bit.
I'm left-handed, and for years, I would hear a random voice call my name every once in a blue moon. Then again, that's really all I ever hear in my head. Does hearing just one thing still count as schizophrenia?
It can.
My psych professor was telling us about a patient he had, he was also some musician.
All he heard was "Steal a Honda." That was the only line, and it was the same voice. He refused to take medicine, so he kept stealing Hondas and going to jail. Then right when he got out he would steal another. He also never did learn to drive.

I love my psych class... My professor has lots of stories. They're great...

Although I really really really doubt you have schizophrenia, my opinion is you simply think you hear your voice every once in a while.

Every time someone thinks being schizophrenic means you have multiple personalities, I die inside.

I suppose it might relate to the side of the brain you use, creativity vs scientific, or something. Or it could be bullshit. I don't know, but I doubt this has been extensively researched, so since I'm not schizo I'll just file it with other pointless bits of research.
