You know those posts?

That make you enter the thread to see what they are going on about? Obviously curiosity wins over, but it's a low down dirty trick and anybody who does it should be ashamed. Unless it's me. I'm allowed to do that kind of shit.

OT: Generally those are the zealots who will just see a topic title, decide they hate everyone and then preach. The Zeels of this world if you would. So yeah, big problem with them.

...where the poster reads skims the topic title and posts, without really reading what the original post is all about, and disregarding the discussion up until their entry?
I always read what the OP is all about before discussing my opinion, I try to get some of the discussion but I don't always thoroughly go through every single post, unless it is something I'm really interested in or a thread I created. I figure I offer my opinion for the creator and the few who decide to read it and hope my insight helps the discussion or someone decides to comment on it, while still expecting most to gloss over my post.

I don't know exactly what this "420" is, all I know is that it seems like it happens once a year, in theory it's supposed to be a happier occasion than other days, but everyone does exactly what they always do regardless of whether or not they planned to participate in whatever this event is about.

No one wants to hear about how much you hate the Royal Mail. The postmen are only doing their fucking jobs!

Hmmm, well the scariest fanfiction I've probably ever read is the Cupcakes sequel "Rocket to Insanity", that just creeped me out so much more than the gorefest in Cupcakes.

Oh, silly me! The OP was about our favorite cheese! Well, mine is just the good old cheddar, you can't beat it really.

I'm sorry OP, I thought the seventh season of Stargate SG-1 was the best of the series with a close second (very close) being the second season.

Also, wooden posts are better than metal ones. Just seems more... suburban.

Yeah... the posters with the silhouette of the hero walking slowly towards the camera, with the background blurred with blue and/or orange?

They piss me off too.

Look guys, YOU ARE NEVER THE ONLY ONE. EVER. Please understand this.
I bet I'm the only one who enjoys a spot of labotomy while beating a priest to death with siamese badgers.
Black or gray furred badgers?

Captcha: Death key Hmm, key~note, Death note? I can kill someone from the chat?! Jedward, lightning strike!

As evidenced by some of the other posts, you aren't the only one. However, I just want to say: I got four of the pious suckers once back in '88 without waking my badgers. Top that!
...Although I can't remember what the lobotomy was for, or who was performing it on me at the time. I guess that means it was a success.

OT: I'm not as familiar with the history of these forums as some of the others here, but it seems to me that whenever someone does post without taking the OP and/or the rest of the thread into consideration, their post is just ignored by everyone.
