and Moon (The MOST brilliant Sci-Fi movie in the last decade)?
What is Moon about? What makes it so good? I've heard a lot about it but I've never gotten the opportunity to see it. Is it a real artsy piece or is it pretty accessible?
Without ruining too much, Moon is about the near future, where fuel is harvested on the Moon. And rather than send hundreds of miners to get it, they send robotic factories/skimmers to do the harvesting, and one poor bastard to maintain the machines.
The movie begins with our main (And really, only) human character, as he prepares to go home after a 3 year contract. However, he gets sick, and things start going wrong...
I can't tell you anymore without ruining the entire thing. Its 15 bucks in BestBuy now (For BluRay!), so just go get the damn thing and enjoy.
EDIT: Its accessible. Its an Indy film, so its a bit artsy, but nothing too serious.
