Alot of people these day's play multiplayer. And i'm pretty sure we all have our story of some fourteen year-old(or younger) screaming in his mic about you actually killing him. This doesn't really bother me much, considering there is a handful of adults who can't coup with this either. But for some reason, adults have started to tell me I shouldn't play multiplayer because children ruin the online experince. Now, before I go on, I am fully aware that most american children are idiots, and that most idiots have mic's.But just because they are massive idiots, doesn't mean I am, so don't put me into this spectum of idiocy just because you feel like it.Some of us can handle ourselves without a cell phone and the Internet. We mostly live in Arizona.

I agree with the OP and subsequent posters, but there is some good news for you: You'll get older, and if you're mature now, think how much better it'll be when you're 16, 20, etc.

Do you refrain from screaming into a microphone?
Do you resist any urges to bring sexuality, or the sexual proclivity of someone's mother, into the conversation?
Do you work towards goals, hold a team-oriented mindset and keep yourself from ruining others' enjoyment for no reason other than "the lulz"?

If your answer to these three questions is "yes", then grab your mouse or controller and join the game. I'll be happy to have you aboard.

Your age says nothing about how old you are.
What I mean is that 14 year old are often behaving older then 16 or somtimes 18 year olds.
No wait what I meant to say is that its doesn't matter how old you are but how old you behave.
Its hard to explain in english....

I have to admit, I've not had the....pleasure? Of running into the bands of homophobic pyschopathic 14 year olds who are reported to roam the waste lands of Xbox live, living by their own law and bring justice to the....wait, no... thats a mixture of Mad Max and the Judge Dreeg movie.

Anywho, I've not run into these folk on XBL, but no one seems to use their mics on XBL, which is quite depressing to me as it would be an advantage I'd have thought XBL multiplayer would have over the average PC multiplayer experience.

That said, I have run across the odd one or two 14-ish year olds with mics on PC, and though it is a strain to communicate with them alot of the time, a good bulk of them are ok. No idea if that applies to XBL or not.

The idiots speaks the loudest. The smart ones are quiet.
Pretty much goes with everything in life. Celebrities, for example.

Well, before you hit puberty, there is this thing called "happiness & infinite energy" and how it will leave you once you grow some sperm.

So, use that energy to do something creative outside. Not just sit inside and waste all that away on POINTLESS GAMES! Those are for us mopey, older people.

Besides, the reasoning of a 13-14 year olds brain is very... Well, I can't find a word for it. You'll figure it out when ya grow up, looking back.

I completely agree with you.
Being a mature , smart 13 years old kid is a pain in the arse because everyone will treat me like most 13 years old kids (Like an idiot).

Yes, but are you playing a game that's suitable for you? See, this is the kicker, and what adults hate most, when we get into an M rated game, which is meant solely for us, and there are a bunch of 12, 13, 14 year olds, screaming at us, all because "mommy" doesn't know dick about games, or what a little shit "Timmy" is, and doesn't check the ESRB sticker on the back of the box.

This is what really infuriates us. If kids would stay on their own games, the ones rated E, and T, then I think we would get much less pissed about dickheads acting like assholes. When a 34 year old is trying to talk trash, it's sad and we laugh at him, when a 12 year old is doing it, it's infuriating and we want to give his father a forced vasectomy.
I , for an example , is mature enough for these games , and do not TELL ME "GAH YOU TOO YOUNG IF YOU PLAY THIS YOU SOON TO BE SERIAL RAPIST!" because if you have a brain , and I am pretty damn sure you have one because for some reason this site is filled with people who has those squishy pink things in their head , you will understand this.
Age has nothing to do with it , its the maturity of the person that makes the difference.
Here is an example:
I am pretty damn sure i will fit much better into a violent video game than Justin Bieber , even if he is 2-3 years older than me.

Yeah, man, I'm in the same boat you're in. (Luckily, not too many people know about it, since I look/sound like I'm at least 17)
I'm not offended when people yell at kids on xbox live, because I realize that yes, most people my age are idiots. Hell, most people in general are idiots. Basically, what I'm saying is that so long as you don't TELL people you're a kid, nobody will care. (But don't use a mic unless your voice is deep, otherwise it'll be obvious.)
