Fear of my own imagination. I hate being left to my own devices with nothing around me. And I otherwise love the darkness, as long as I'm occupied. When my brain gets running, I freak out.
I also have a mild, pretty much controllable fear of heights, a hatred of creepy-crawlies, and fear of dogs (childhood experience)... thankfully, that last one is fading.

... So, yeah. Basically, just the dark, and just when I'm not distracted by normal thoughts. Only when my brain starts thinking of scary stuff. Funny how that works. "Your mind makes it real" indeed.

i have a deathly fear of the ocean, im fine on a boat, in a pool or in lakes and such but out in a vast open ocean with no land in sight and the bottom disappearing into blackness with god knows what living down there scares the crap out of me.

Vespaphobia, fear of wasps.

Also, Enochlophobia, anyone know what it is without a google search?

Fear of crowds

It's not actually the worst fear ever, but for me it manifests as a feeling of paranoia and claustrophobia. Gets a bit tough around Christmas as you can probably imagine.

The way I see it, if you can become immortal thanks to a higher power (assuming that is how you become immortal), they would compensate for any shortcomings.

I fear wide open areas, like the ocean, and space. The thought of a puny human floating towards, say, Jupiter, gives me the chills.

Deep water - To the point that even underwater areas in games freak me out. At least where water is a threat, or adds something threatening. Most likely due to the fact that I've almost drowned several times throughout my life. Anyways example:

Bioshock: I'm fine with it, but the intro where you're taking the first Bathysphere into Rapture. Even the underwater areas in Bioshock 2 weren't unnerving to me, since the whole sense of danger was gone.

Metroid Prime: I forget the underwater areas name, but I hated it, and it took me forever to get through it. The fogged vision is one of the big things that scares me.

Super Metroid: Maridia always freaked me the hell out

Mario 64: Dat Eel

Other things that aren't included in video games:

Major Heights - Talking 5+ stories
Climbing Heights and unstable heights - anything high enough to hurt me, ladders freak me out, and if the ground I'm standing on is shaky than it freaks me out more. The ground doesn't have to be level, just stable. I don't mind standing on my house's roof, but the climb always unnerves me.

Combination of Dark + Close spaces - I can handle either one alone, but if it's dark AND small (crawl spaces for example) I get freaked out.

Spiders, their webs in particular - If I see a spider, I will crush it no problem. If I see one and it gets away... it freaks me out a little more. Running into a web face first nearly gave me a heart attack. (I did this while mowing once) Also, feeling one crawl on you is eerie

Bees - I could start a long winded expla --- OH GOD BEES!!!!

I am afraid of and fascinated by heights. I've always wanted to know what it would feel like to fall a hundred stories. But I've never wanted to know what impact feels like.

The very idea that I am tantalized by assured death scares me.
You can always go bungie jumping.

Well, mine is wasps, after being chased by a huge swarm of the things (like a cartoon) and being stung repeatably on the back of my head, i've never looked at a wasp the same way again.

The spider looks disturbingly like a human hand when it jumps the cricket.

How big the fricking universe is.That might sound weird but it makes me feel really insignificant and like I know absolutely nothing which in the grand scheme of things is true.I actually get quite depressed about it sometimes it really does scare me.

The dentist. It's pretty severe, I have to be sedated every time I go so I don't scream and cry and bite fingers.

I blame Steve Martin. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOtMizMQ6oM]

I totally get what you mean about the universe, though, Lone. It's just so big and so much of it we can't see.

I dislike really, really open spaces.
Mild agoraphobia. I just get uncomfortable.
It's not serious, but if I look straight up I get worried that gravity will reverse.
It's odd that I have a fear of falling up, but no fear of heights.

I read the title, and thought of these

I have an odd fear of heinghts, sometimes I'm fine, but often a railing being there will frighten me more than a lack of one. Almost as if the railing is saying "Someone fell here, you want to be next?"
Don't like any flying insects.
Probably take more pleasure than I should in killing roaches in fallout (HATED the bugs in borderlands)
Being powerless
Losing parts of my body (while still admitting a robotic right arm would be pretty cool (I'm a leftie))
Claustrophobia
The thought of someone entering my property uninvited (read: Robbers)
Sometimes fear of the dark, better now

This goes with dark

This used to happen a lot to me. Still does occasionally. Goes along with the one below
Fear of being forgotten/ignored
Fear of failing

Got over:
Fear of boats
Needles (have to look away, but I don't run anymore)(EDIT: But seeing needles go in other people has always been fine ex: Bioshock)
Rollar Coasters (Space Mountain=instant cure)

Holy crap, wall of text. Stopping now.

I'm very jumpy and hate pain. So, pretty much everything bugs me.
(Punny, no?)

...Srsly...

Biggest thing is is stairs and larders - it's not the height, it's going up and down them.
You can thank childhood trauma for that!

Failure. It's something not easily changed but easily avoided.

However, avoiding it will never bring true success. It's better to try and fail than to dream of success.

Just spiders, I know its cliche, though I will say I'm probably much more of an arachnophobe than most people who claim to be.

I never knew so many people are scared of heights, heights fascinate me. Looking down at the world from above makes everything so small and makes me feel so big, lol. I would also love to try bungie jumping. I am however, scared of ladders, they feel very unstable by design to me.
