I think I've dated about every race, and I don't really have one. I find that each is attractive in their own respects.

I can't say I've had one. I guess I'm less inclined to date white girls because they've generally tended to be the bitchiest, but that literally had nothing to do with race and everything to do with themselves.

Yep, you were right, that's pretty racist.
No it's not. But the fact that you think it's racist makes you a racist.

Inception shit right there, ain't it?

It's not racist at all. You're not thinking any less of them as a person, it's just a preference for their physical aspects. Everyone has this to at least some degree(Preference for physical aspects, I mean). As for me...hmmm...I'm not sure. I think I'd have a preference if I had a choice, but it's hard enough to find a cool girl who'll give me the time of day, much less get several and choose one.

I myself prefer white girls and to a much lesser extent, Hispanic girls. I am not attracted to Black or Asian women. That is not to say I simply dislike them for being Black or Asian (which would be racist) just that I don't find them attractive (which is not racist). I'm half breed White-Hispanic so I imagine that is why I like those "colors" as opposed to Black women or Asian women.

Hello, your friendly Sister of Battle here, this time with a bit of a touchy subject. I've asked about just about every aspect of a person and what my fellows find attractive, save one. So today I risk insult, flaming and possible warning to ask: What is your prefered skin tone, in both yourself and your potential lover?

Now I am not trying to ignite racial bigotry or start discussions about which race is the hottest, simply if my fellow Escapees prefer one SKIN TONE over the other. And no, I won't be making a poll, there are far to many tones to accurately gauge ones preference. So I simply as y'all to give a specific example/picture/link to picture/discription/ect. and an explanation as to why.

I will take a rather dangerous leap and state my preference. I prefer white men and women. And no not "average Caucasian" no, I mean white, Gothic white, never seen the freakin' sun white, Christina Hendrecks looks tanned white. I'm not sure why, to me it is an unconscious symbol of purity and depth. It also really goes excellent with red hair, dark hair and green eyes.
That's a bit racist, so I'm gonna reply by saying...

Yours.

It's not racist. You didn't say "what race do you prefer". I mean, if you like tanned-looking skin that pretty much covers the board for "white people who stay outside a lot" to "pretty much all Latino people" to "half Caucasian and half African American or whatever label you want to say".

Personally? I don't care as long as they look healthy. This is generally a problem when, say, a redhead tries to dye their hair black - it makes them look sick because their skin tone just won't do black hair. I personally have brown-red hair and can't do black or blonde because of my skin. (I know it sounds like I'm harping on hair but it's really the skintone that does it.)

I don't consider this racist because it isn't making sweeping generalizations about race, it's just a thread asking what races you prefer sexually.

Anyways, I find that I can be attracted to any race, but Indian and black women are the least likely to attract me.

I DON'T LIKE those with "perpetual" sunburns.
If you look like a tomato or are molting like a snake, just not for me.

Personally, I'm more of a 'does she have a cute face' type of guy.
I've dated about (if not every) color under the rainbow so I'm 'whatever' to it now.

I've had this exact discussion with many people, and I couldn't consider it racist. This type of sexual preference is something we can't deny exists. For example, I can't find myself attracted to black women, or asian women. Am I a racist? Of course not, but it's the same as preferring brunette hair over a blonde hair (I do prefer brunette, btw).
See, thats how I see it, but evidently some people find it a touchy subject.
I'm exactly the same. I hate racism, but quite simply I am white, and I dont find women of any other ethnicity attractive. To clarify..I think they are "good looking" and I can see when women of any race is good looking, however I am not attracted them. I wouldst say I'm racist, since I don't find women who use makeup all the time attractive that much. Its just preference.

I like to look as pale as possible because I believe that it adds to my complexion and makes my hair look darker and more silky, adding to my mystery (Which is the reason almost EVERY girl I've dated has been interested)
for lover. ANYTHING BUT ORANGE!

GAHH NO! just no!
natural skin tone is sexy but burning yourself in sunlight is just awful and if you're too lazy to go into the sun it's even worse. The skin color you're given is beautiful but the skin you fake is always ugly. Also I think tanning lowers your intelligence, name one smart person you know who likes tanning?

I've only dated white guys, (but then again I've only had two boyfriends), but I find guys of all races attractive.
The only skin tone I dont like is fake-tan orange.

IS this easy , do you hate somebody for his/her skin color?
Do you feel superior to a person for his/her skin color is blacker than yours?

if your answer is no, then congratulacions, you are not a racist.

Dude if you don't find atractive a person for his skin color, is just taste that all there is to it.

For example i like my woman skin color brown, and with some big booty. and if a woman is flat forward and behind, she can kiss this latino goodbye.

Everyone I've ever had a crush on has been Caucasian. I've had a lot of Asian friends but none of them have ever triggered "dateable" in my mind. Although I find women of any colour appealing, I find Caucasian men the most attractive (a light natural tan is a plus though).

Doing fine so far.

I'm not sure why, to me it is an unconscious symbol of purity and depth. It also really goes excellent with red hair, dark hair and green eyes.
And here's your problem.

I've been trying to re-read it several times to see if I'm getting it wrong. But every time I read it, it sounds like you're equating white skin to purity, or at least you're reminded of purity when you see white skin. I will simply not comment on that any further until I get that clarified because it wouldn't be fair to anyone if I did.

Personally, while in extreme cases I can find white women attractive on a purely physical scale, I usually don't. I see it so much that it gets boring. In fact, that's how my attraction usually works. I want something new. I've seen people of my race all my life. Ok. been there, done that. I've been drowning with White people. What else is out there?

Now, the rub is that I'm apart of a culture that white people vastly make the number of. So, while I'm not usually physically attracted to the girls I end up liking, I just happen to like them because their personalities are amazing and being just friends is not an option for me. It tends to hurt when someone says 'Wow, you do have a great personality. But you just happen to fall under a group of those I don't find desirable. If only you were a white guy'

And yes, I've had that real discussion plenty o' times.

Now, as one of the only token ethnic geeks who has admitted being so in this thread, I'll hazard what a few of my other token geek friends and I have discussed with our white geek friends when we talked about this; We're already seen as a skin color. I'm six foot two, I'm a personal trainer by trade, and I'm black. Also, I can out game most in any form of Warhammer, I collect video game trivia like it was the only way to keep me alive, and I'm a Browncoat for life. People have a hard time connecting the two.

And that's just regular people. I couldn't give two licks about them. But it's my own culture that still treats me like a leper. I can't tell you how many geek homes I've walked into and had to prove my geekdom because 'I didn't look the part'. That gets tiring. And, you know, you might want to have a mate with your similar interests. That's always nice. But alas, most white geeks either look for other white geeks or asians because they are the acceptable exotic.

I'm proud of my geekdom. Is it really that much to be seen as a geek first and everything else last?

This isn't racist. Saying "I'm more attracted to black women than white women" is not racist. The line comes (and only appears) when you add onto that "because black women are *insert stereotype*"

Simply stating your preferred dose of melonin in your sexual partner is just as racist as stating your preferred hair colour, or your preferred eye colour (if I gotta confirm it, that's not racist, but I'm sure it'll be declared racist by some tit).

On topic, I prefer caucasians. Dunno why, just do. Just one of those things, like I also prefer redheads or chicks with medium sized boobs or BBQ sauce on a burger instead of ketchup. They're all as racist as each other, btw.

I don't consider it racist, It's just your sexuality. If it's racist to not find black people sexually attractive then I guess not being attracted to gay men *if you are a man* is homophobic as well.

So no, unless every person that refuses me a blowjob is homophobic you're not racist. And to be honest, I have my preferences as well. I'm a lame white male that finds Asians and Latino's attractive.
