will date anything BUT black women due to too many bad past experiences.
I've tried too, but all the ones I've liked have moved to other states or don't date black guys. It's those chip-on-the-shoulder ones that usually like me. I also have had shoulder-chip issues with West Indian girls, but their schisms are easier to spot (do a British accent, see if they launch into a tirade).

I like Caucasian women, regardless of skin tone (unless very pale or very dark). It's worth noting that I have fairly brown (Middle-Eastern) skin myself, but have lived all my life in Australia.

It really doesn't bother me though. The girl I was most attracted to throughout my entire life had pale white skin, and blond hair. Really blonde hair. And another girl had darker skin and totally black hair.

Was with you until you said "purity"

not a good word to use regarding skin tones. implies a lot more than just a superficial preference.

I like red hair so i normally get the pale white skin tone with, but it really comes down to how cool a chick is or how drunk i am when i first meet them.

Hello, your friendly Sister of Battle here, this time with a bit of a touchy subject. I've asked about just about every aspect of a person and what my fellows find attractive, save one. So today I risk insult, flaming and possible warning to ask: What is your prefered skin tone, in both yourself and your potential lover?

Now I am not trying to ignite racial bigotry or start discussions about which race is the hottest, simply if my fellow Escapees prefer one SKIN TONE over the other. And no, I won't be making a poll, there are far to many tones to accurately gauge ones preference. So I simply as y'all to give a specific example/picture/link to picture/discription/ect. and an explanation as to why.

I will take a rather dangerous leap and state my preference. I prefer white men and women. And no not "average Caucasian" no, I mean white, Gothic white, never seen the freakin' sun white, Christina Hendrecks looks tanned white. I'm not sure why, to me it is an unconscious symbol of purity and depth. It also really goes excellent with red hair, dark hair and green eyes.
Well, I do have to warn you about one thing of the Escapist.

90% of the Escapist, can't read, seriously check it up.
But well, my preference is the same as yours snow white skin, black hair...blue eyes.
Oh yes, my cock is a nazi.
But I do have a thing for black women with tits so meh! I'm an equal oppurtunist.
Oh and especially red hair and pale skin, makes me hungry.

P.s. I don't think you're being racist at all.

Not racist at all, really. Your modes of attraction to other people are your preferences alone, and no one has a right to attempt to force you to be "attracted" to someone for the sake of some misguided PC.

However, the bolded certainly borders on some racist qualms..

I tend to like my guys with lovely dark eyes and medium-to-dark hair, and even that's not a terribly strict preference. Depending on the individual person's looks they can be any race or ethnicity, but I will admit that East Asian guys usually turn my head pretty easily. Om nom nom. :D

Edit: I grew up around mostly white and Asian people, so that's who I was used to admiring as a teenager, but after living in more diverse areas my preferences grew more diverse as well. It sounds dumb, but I had to practice a bit to see beauty in people I wasn't used to looking at. (But now I'm good at picking out hot guys of any color, which means more hot guys total. Win win!)

To be honest, I don't think I actively discriminate by skin tone. My girlfriends a caramel complexion (despite living in England, where the sun never shines) which I can only conclude is part of her French genetics. Next to her, I show up as the white as paper ginger that I am, but that's never really bothered me.

It's true to say that I've never been attracted to anyone with dark skin, but more due to the fact that there's no one available for me to be actively interested in. I blame poor ethnic integration, not my sense of taste...

Yeah, agreed. When you start assigning personality/character traits to whole groups of people based on skin color that is racist. Like the guys who only like Asian women 'cause they think they're submissive, or the girls who only like black men 'cause they assume certain penis-related stereotypes are true... racist!

(Also, I'm not sure "unconscious" means what the OP thinks it means... :p)

White. Real real white. With dark hair. It drives me crazy :).

And it's hardly racist, is just a preference.

Black
With the exception of darker skin being superior because of higher melanin count. I also find it, as you say it OP, "an unconscious symbol of purity and depth".

...and also red hair.

Well I suffer from a skin condition that could turn me Albino (too early to say), and my dad's hair turned white before he was thirty. So it seems I'd better find myself a girl who likes ghosts.

I don't really have a big preference for skin tone, but I'd say I prefer paler skin. When I'm next to someone who is tanned I look really pale (probably because I am).

To me, that doesnt sound too racist. I think im like a poster child for anti racism, i have a friend of every race, barring moon people. But i dont like black girls, theres something about them that doesnt want me to have them as a sexual partner, granted all of the black people ive met have been not only nice, but very funny and helpful. But whenever i see a black girl in a skimpy outfit i always think back to Cleavon Little...
"Hey where the white women at?!"

If anyone finds this racist, they are pretty damn ignorant if you ask me. Similar questions include, but are not limited to:
"Do you like bigger or smaller breasts?"
"Do you like thin or big women?"
"Do you like blondes or brunettes?"

Preferring thin women over bigger ones doesn't mean you HATE the bigger ones, or blondes just because you like the brunettes. It's plain silly.

To answer your question, I would most often go for white girls, but I've been with black women too. I dated an asian woman at one time too. The most beautiful woman I know is white, but I don't limit myself because of skin color.

Well, I'm ginger pale, but I'd rather be the gothic white you mention, because I look annoyingly pink sometimes. Although sadly I don't have red hair and green eyes, but darker than usual ginger hair (since I used to have brown hair) and blue eyes.

I think I might be fine all skin tones, but I think I prefer something in the middle or leaning towards white. Usuually if I don't find a darker skinned perosn attractive it'll be because of their facial structure.
