Wow, that's not at all racist we're talking about skin tone here people! I don't know about you guys but there is a lot more physical difference between races than just skin tone, skin tone is a physical feature, something that you may or may not find attractive about somebody irrespective of racial prejudice, just like somebody may have a thing for big or small noses. To call this discussion racist is like calling somebody who finds natural red heads attractive racist because red hair is only natural in, you guessed it, Caucasians. I find it racist that we can't discuss our sexual preference for a single physical characteristic without the issue of race becoming an issue, as if skin tone is the single dividing characteristic for all races.
We're all people and we come in all colours of the rainbow or at the very least ghostly white to dark as night black and in a modern forward thinking world we should be free to discuss our preference for skin tone without race even registering on the radar just like we would if discussing preference for hairstyles, hair colour, body build, facial structure, all of which BELIEVE IT OR NOT are actually as greatly affected by race if not more than skin tone.
In other words I personally feel that using skin tone as a characteristic for segregating people into racial groups is significantly more racist than having a preference for skin tone regardless of race, because guess what? Pale white Asian? BAM, suddenly hair colour is more racist than skin tone because red hair ONLY occurs in caucasians. But at the end of the day none of this is racist because we are not discussing a preference for races we are discussing preference for physical features, regardless of race.
