Audition. That one's still keeping me awake...

Oh, or I find that war films are pretty good when you're ill. I watched Downfall last time I wasn't feeling well, which contributed well to the air of malaise. Or anything by Kubrick. Can't go wrong with Kubrick. Or David Lynch. God, I'm beginning to wish I was ill...

So, I feel pretty horrible today (I am spending it in bed with the dog licking me out of unconsciousness when she needs to go out), and I'm wondering if anybody can think of a good movie for me to watch that isn't too action-packed but will keep me awake.

Go.

Road or Eurotrip
Eurotrip is fine, sure, but I can hardly condone the promotion of Road Trip as a positive thing. If you want to watch a good Sean William Scott movie, watch American Pie or Role Models (the latter of which is unfortunately not released on DVD yet, though it was spectacularly funny). Or, heck, Sean William Scott was in Southland Tales. It's confusing as hell but it doesn't put you to sleep.

Repo! The Genetic Opera. My favourite musical (I mean movie musical, not theatre musical).

Watch some zombie movies! Dawn of the Dead and 28 Days/Weeks Later are good choices.

Watch a few episodes of Heroes or Lost. Failing that, try Crank. Awesome film, plenty of action but not too much, although some scenes are hilarious (as is the whole plot), and it has Jason Statham in it. What more could you ask for?

P.S. I'm really jealous that you can spend all day in bed... Mondays are my worst day. I have so much work and no free time, and for some reason my lectures are almost all today and not spaced out across the week. I thought university lecturers were supposed to be smart, so why is the timetabling so bad? In my Maths A-Levels I learned a much more efficient way to do this...

This.

PS, you might want to think a bit more about the name of the thread ^^

The Last Samurai is a pretty good movie not too much action long yet interesting. Its kind of a good movie when your sick. Blood Diamond has a bit more action but a really good story line. The Departed is always good. And when your feeling better check out boondock saints. very violent but very good lol

The name of the thread is "Sick Movie."

If you read what bmf actually SAYS, it's that HE is sick, (Thus the name of the thread) and needs a non-action packed movie that will keep him awake.

...Wait.. unless you meant that towards bmf... In that case, my bad?

These are all films you could enjoy while your not vomiting blood.

When im feeling ill I crack open the Alan Partridge box set.

If you haven't got that then fire up 4OD and watch every episode of Peep Show ever made.

If your not from the UK then do not do any of this as you probably cant... just watch WALL-E.
