You could always watch something non-action packed like Stranger Than Fiction, I liked that one.

How about you watch a movie like The Jane Austen Book Club, I stayed awake through that whole movie even though it wasn't action packed. The sci-fi nerd in that film is win.

Harold and Maude might be a good one for you, but it's about death, and when you're sick that might make you feel a bit edgy...

Weekend at Bernie's is something I watch when I'm sick.

You could always watch the black and white movie of Frankenstein or the Bela Lugosi Dracula movie to cheer you up about feeling sick with bad special effects. Planes, Trains and Automobiles is another film which is funny that agreed with me.

Cannibal Holocaust, 964 Pinnochio, Begotten...

Oh wait, not that kind of sick movie. Damn.

Erm, Shrek. Yeah definitely Shrek.
I just watched Cannibal Holocaust two days ago. It was hyped up to be all gross and whatnot, but turned out to be more of a somewhat boring social commentary.

Title changed to avoid confusion
Thanks for that. I was wondering if someone might not read the first post and recommend some horrible movie about filleting baby sheep or something.

I like watching Master and COmmander when I'm not up to par. And Full Metal Jacket. I have no idea why FMJ makes me feel better; Master and COmmander, I love the books, and the music is fantastic in the movie.

Oh Full Metal Jacket. You win. I feel a little better now, but I might still watch it and put off homework.

Shawshank Redemption? That Might put you to sleep, and if it does: Shame on you.
Yes, please watch that and "Casablanca" neither of those should put you to sleep and are both amazing.

Also as a bonus if you are that special kinda sick where you know you just need to vomit. I hear good things about "Twilight"...

Peep Show for sure. Nothing makes you feel better then watching a bunch of people whose lives suck more then yours.

I would recommend "The Rocker." Another one that I watch a lot when I'm sick is "High Fidelity" of course this is only a good choice if you haven't seen it before.

Snatch, Wall-E, Old School, Army of Darkness or Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

That makes an interesting day, maybe play a little Fallout 3 as well, just to round off a general meh day, admittedly late but still a good plan for the future.

Otherwise, I suggest you take a crack at a wonderful 80s british comedy called "Black Adder." It's funnier than Monty Python could ever be, and Hugh Laurie is in the 3rd and 4th season.
