So I went to Bookman's twice in the last month. I don't know if you people have Bookman's in other country's or other states, but if you don't, it's basically a used store for everything. I mean anything. I have three Bookman's here in Arizona, and I go to this one often. When I enter the store, I head to the game section. Take note I don't have much money with me, but will look anyways. While looking, I find Dues Ex, Paper Mario Thousand year Door, Beyond Good and Evil, and Blazblue Calamity trigger(Sorry if I my spelling sucks) all there. I was overjoyed. I have heard so many great things about these games, and I like all these genres, I didn't think it could be possible. Only problem is, I could only afford Beyond Good and Evil. Not that I regret buying it, BG&E is a really good game. But now i look back on the other games and think, "I'm never gonna find that game again". I went to another Bookman's, and found Rule of Roses( A really good SH2 clone), Rayman 2, Warhammer 40K fire warrior, Zelda Wind Waker, and countless other gems, but I only bought two games. I thought the same thing as before.

Sorry for the wall of text, but the question is, fellow Escapist's, Is have you ever found a game you'd know like, but pass on it, and know you'll probably never find it again?

Rayman DS is a Great Escape remake, by the way ;)

And not my fault, but Metroid Prime. I tried to buy it, but the store had screwed up and didn't have any in stock. Luckily, I got Echoes instead :D
They have Rayman on the DS? I got Rayman 2:Revolution for PS2. Still pretty good.

If it was something for SNES, I just wouldn't pass on it, too risky! I'll find you one day Bugs Bunny B-Ball.

I found Ikaruga for the Gamecube at a Gamestop once. Didn't have any money.
It took 2 YEARS for me to find it at a used-game shop at the Daytona flea-market.

Well I saw a toploading NES a few months ago in my local game store, which was the first NES I had seen there, and passed because it was like $80.

Our local Hastings has about 30 used copies for all systems and about 10 new copies for them all except maybe PC. They have so many they have them marked down to 7.99 for a used copy and won't take them in when you trade or sell games to them.

About 10 months ago i saw resident evil 2 for Gamecube, and passed it up thinking it'll be there in a couple of days after payday. Unfortunately three days later it was gone. Had to wait 9 months to find another copy.

After that, I panic and make sure i buy or reserve it when i see it in Cex. Because i know it's gonna go.

Great game. My friend has it, but he's in Flitwick now :(
Wasn't that originally on the SNES?

No, it was released in 2003 as a PS2 exclusive.

It's Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner for me. I missed out on it when it was new, and I've only seen a used copy once in my life. I was a jobless high school student who didn't have the cash at the time, so I didn't get it. I've been kicking myself ever since. The hilarious thing is I walked into Gamestop last night, and made my inevitable check of the PS2 racks. When the clerk asked if he could help me, and I told him what I was looking for, he laughed and said something to the effect of "What is it with that game?" Apparently, he gets asked about it all the time, and sold a copy just last week. He told me if I ever do come across it in a gamestop, that it goes for all of $5, so at least I don't have to feel guilty if I come across it while broke at some point in the future and buy it anyway.

The damn Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle game for the SEGA Genesis. I loves it, I played it all the time. Then, oh then, I traded it for Batman Forever. I wish I had a tie machine so I could go back and punch myself.

First of all, do not regret buying only BGE, it was the best of the bunch. And yes I have played them all. BGE actually sits in my Top X List.

OT: No, mainly because no one sells PC games in Mexico anymore.

Klonoa: Door to Phantomile.
I walked into a GAME in town to take a peek at stuff, saw an employee unpacking a box of pre-owned games. It was the last game outta the box with a ?9 sticker on it. I pegged home to grab my wallet (i forgot it) and ran back. Myself and some other guy went for it, and out of knidness let him buy it. Hated myself for it though.
