High five! I love The Lion King. Far too much.
*High fives back*

My favourite childhood movie. My mom ended up giving away our entire Disney VHS collection, including The Lion King. Sad times... sad times.
Same here. I've started buying them all back, but I only have the Aristocats and Mulan thus far. For some reason they're really hard to find. Then I'm going to work on Pixar movies too.

So yes, Hi all! Name's Dragoniferous, I'm a girl, I live in Australia. Nice to meet you.
hey! welcome

where in australia are you from?
Melbourne, Victoria. Land of the crazy weather (we're known for 'four seasons in one day'), crazy hot summers and, um... Australians?
ahhh... I have absolutely no idea where that is

I'm from New York City, known for "no seasons at all", and tall buildings

Welcome, but you shouldn't ever admit to being a girl on the internet.
He's right. I'm currently enduring massive amounts of therapy thanks to this...well, fine, maybe it was because of what's in the basement.

Um, hello. Hope you enjoy the forums and make sure to keep to the...forum...guidelines...and such.
All awkwardness aside, good times are ahead. Take note of this fact.

I'm too busy loving your avatar to listen to your advice. I love Fight Club far too much.
What are the seven rules?
1. Do not talk about Fight Club
2. Do NOT talk about Fight Club
3. If someone says stop, taps out or goes limp, the fight is over.
4. Only two guys to a fight
5. One fight at a time
6. No shirts, no shoes.
7. Fights go on as long as they have to
8. If this is your first night at Fight Club... You have to fight.
Almost, but rule three and rule seven should be under the same rule. However, I am merely nit-picking. Now, if you had a tumor, what would you name it?
Cannot quote word perfect? Must watch again!
And, uh... Bertha. Because I loathe the name Bertha.
The answer I was looking for is Marla. You should also read the book if you haven't already.
I have :) Twice.
I was just thinking my own personal tumour, if I were to have one.
Question time for you, which did you prefer out of book and movie? And which did you see/read first?
Read the book first, but I prefer the film.
Alright. I saw the film first, but I think I like them pretty equally. One of the very few times I haven't disliked a movie made from a book.
You have won my respect. Now, (if you should feel so inclined) what are some of your other film/literary/game interests?

Towards the bottom. If you know of Sydney, I suppose it's near there.

I figure I'll eventually buy some of my favourites on DVD or Blu-Ray.

Oh, and you're from Melbourne, hey? I lived there for several months with my ex, and I can understand the whole "four seasons in one day", and the blistering heat.

Films: Donnie Darko, Disney Classics, Pixar movies, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, LotR, Studio Ghibli stuff... Can't think right now. I know I'm missing some obvious ones.

Literature: His Dark Materials trilogy, Fight Club, Robin Hobb Farseer trilogy, Anne McCaffrey stuff, Catcher in the Rye, Flow my Tears the Policeman Said, 1984, Brave New World, more that I can't remember.

Games: Half-Life and episodes, Portal, Bioshock (though I'm still playing, haven't finished), Halo/Halo 2, Minecraft, Pokémon, Zelda OoT, MM, TP, WW, And again, more.

Yourself?

Good to see another Australian!

Seems like it was just Yahtzee and myself...

P.S: Perth, Western Australia!

Girls on the internet? Surely you're trolling!

I usually try to avoid the petty herd instincts, but I do bid you welcome to the Escapist.
