Is it just me or do i see one of theese every day?

Ehem. All races and all classes are easy to play on World of Warcraft. Blizzard has made a very easy game with a very easy start and will hold your hand through the proccess.

Which faction is "bad" depends solely on the server you play on, if your starting with friends or know people that do play id suggest starting on their server on the same faction.

But undead warlock FTW!!

Not night elf, unless you enjy seeing forests for about 15 hours. Otherwise not a bad race, the mount is awesome, but you'll fight spiders for what feels like years. Humans are also a bit predictable, as you've been playing one your whole life. Go for any of the others really.

Neither of the factions are "bad". I would advice you to go on the same server and faction your friends play on. Otherwise class and race is purely personal preference. Pick a race that you wont get bored looking at and pick a class that you find the most interesting. Not much more to it.

I quit WoW about 1 year ago and heres some tips I can give you..

If you want to pvp play any class.. They all get there turns at being overpowered eventually during patches..

If you want quick queue times for dungeons play a tank. If you want moderately quick queue times be a healer. If you want 15 minute queue times play a dps.

Horde are more bad ass but there is one flaw.. it can take up to 12 minutes to get into a battleground. Alliance have instantanious queue times.

I have played in a top 500 ranked 2v2 team (It's pretty high) so I do know what I'm talking about when I say.. Play any class, play the one which you find to be your favorite. Don't pick something which other people claim to be OP because most of the time you will be utterly disapointed when you don't find your self winning when you get to peak level..

If you do get it, I'd advice you to go horde they have the best mounts :3
also Tauren you ride a rhino (just saying).
Also if you want an easy job at low levels go for a healer it's just aim at tank use HoE rinse and repeat.

Go Druid for your first character. Between their specs they can do melee damage, range damage, tank and heal; I.e. Anything. At the very least it will give you an idea as to what role you prefer.

One thing to bear in mind is that if you play as a female human or night elf, people will occasionally give you money. Just remember every time you leave a group to say 'OMG I don't know how I'll ever pay this repair bill LOL?!' and the trade windows will open.

Got my first mount that way.

Edit: mount as in the animal you ride around...

any class that can tank and races seem to mean nothing in the end.

warrior paladin or druid. I would pick warrior cause they are easiest in my books and fun. or Druid cause they can perform all the roles in the game, Tank, melee dps, range dps, and heals

The reason i suggest tank classes is cause in the end game tanks are in high demand so you will be able to get instant queues for dungeons and raid will grab you quickly too.

I prfer human cause of the every man for themselves or turens cause they are so huge so it makes you look better when your covered in armour.

I have retyped this post like 10 times, each time trying my best to not offend anyone who play WoW, But i cant so im just going to say it.

WoW, is bad for people. And i dont mean the obvious "he sits in front of it for hours a day and never does anything else" That some people get because they really dont do anything else.
I believe Extra credits has summed it up the best when they did there MMO episode, because everyone tries to compete with WoW, very few "New" games are ever made. Its mostly just a copy and paste of WoW's mechanics with Different art. If people stopped saying to themselves "i think ill start playing WoW" and started saying, "I think ill find an indie game to try out" or "I think ill look into a game with cool gameplay mechanics" The world would be a much better place. Before you start your WoW account, i urge you to try something else first, and if there is NOTHING else thats better, and i mean NOTHING! Then play WoW, its essentially the bottom of the barrel anyway.

It boils down to what you like really and... Neither faction is bad so to speak.
If you have friends playing it, join them.
Also.
Don't ask other players what you should play.
Ask yourself, I know it sounds like a Cliché but. it's true.

Each and every class have their own play style and I'd suggest that you'd take you time to go trough each and everyone of them before picking what you'd roll with. Get to level 15-20, by then you should have learned the basics of the class and what it does.

With that said, human warrior [http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/defias-brotherhood/anisia/advanced] ftw!

Blood elf female mage.

I literally get about.. 15 one-way trade windows per party? ^^

It's sad it's so easy to exploit my own gender on WoW with female characters. Er, well.. any MMO, really.

I would have to say, try them all. You have 9 or so slots to have characters on it, go with the faction that you have friends playing and try making a bunch of race/class combos. After playing them for a bit, I would suggest that you start playing the one you have the most fun playing.

WoW is currently the best MMORPG, but it is part of the old style of MMORPGs.

I don't want to tell you what to do, but considering both Guild Wars 2 (no subscription) and Star Wars: the Old Republic (which have far less static classes than previously) are coming out his year, i recommend waiting to see if they are the future of MMORPGs.

Otherwise, i haven't understood that the Alliance is any worse than the Horde, and Paladins are my fav class (somewhat more flexible with heal/tank hybrid).

if you're going to profession, at first it's best to take gathering ones. And make sure that you level them with you, it's a ***** to have to go back to areas you've seen before just cause you made it to 85 and still have apprentice mining.
