Impossible Achievments

This technically doesn't count as an achievement, but to me, getting the big boss emblem is freakin impossible.

"Beat the game on the highest difficulty with no deaths, no alerts, no kills, no recovery items, no stealth suit, no bandanna items, in under 5 hours."

There's that one in Mirror's Edge that you get for beating the game without firing a bullet, yet there is a part where you have to snipe a car.

Dude, I have that achievement. Test of Faith. To get it you can shoot weapons as much as you want, you just can't shoot an enemy, as in a swat cop or any other on foot enemy. Sniping the truck doesn't count as shooting an enemy. Its not too tough. Now the speedruns, those are freaking near impossible. The Pacifist achievement you only have to do one chapter without firing a gun, not to tough on the prolouge.

Also, most of the achievements for Geometry Wars are a pain in the ass, and I am fairly sure I am never going to get those. Mostly because I don't have the attention span needed to practice that game until I can finish it with my eyes closed.

I have no idea how I'm supposed to get Wrecking Ball in WoW (in any instanced PvP area, score 20 killing blows without dying - not just kills, but get the attack that kills them). Not just because I'm usually a healer, either.

Is it really that big of a deal *shrug*? I mean I find that when you start a whole new topic it attracts more people rather then one that's already 3 or 4 pages in. It makes it easier to keep up rather then having to read page after page to catch up.

But anyway there was this one for the Orange Box which was "Beat Half-Life 2: Episode 1 with firing exactly one bullet" or something like that. If anyone can do that, they are messed up people.

i still havent scored from a free kick in fifa 09. i think i just suck at them.
plus that 50 hours of play for one measly gamer point is pretty hard. i do know someone who has got it but he honestly does love fifa. and its his only game he owns

I think that the "Cr0wned" achievement in Left 4 Dead is pretty impossible. Also, I can't get the "Barf Bagged" achievement in Left 4 Dead either. I know it's not that difficult, but I can't seem to get all four survivors close enough together to barf on all of them :S

Actually, I used to think the same thing. If you run up like 3'cm close to her face with an shotgun, you have at least an 80% chance of getting it.

Umm...Don't you have the gravity gun/crowbar? And it isn't limited to difficulty it seems...so that one doesn't sound too bad, especially considering how short the episodes are.

My impossible achievement is the Seriously and Seriously 2.0 Achievements from Gears of War 1 and 2. I just won't play the game enough to get those, sorry. It isn't like there is an easy way to farm kills either, unless you ride the Brumak x amount of times, but even then you get about 100 kills a run(thats for number 2). For those of you who don't know, those achievements require 50,000klls and 100,000kills respectively. Yeah...too much killing. I did the one in Dead Rising but thats because you had a freakin' car that you could plow over about 1,000 zombies per car ride. This is just unreasonable.

He glitched out in my game, he jumped into the car and the driver was acting like he was dodging bullets and what not and the general would poke out his head every few seconds. I just had to shoot a certain amount of times. If that didn't happen though, no way I would have gotten it. I always just grazed him. >_<

The One Free Bullet from Half-Life 2 Episode 1.

You complete the entire game firing only one bullet. Said bullet is used to destroy the lock on the other side of a fence.

I'd say one of the hardest achievements for me was getting to can in the garbage can in the orange box. I kept missing T.T.

But seriously, one of the hardest ones for me was "No Fighting in The War Room" on veteran, Call of Duty 4

You expect to kill a horde of headcrab zombies with a gravity gun and a crowbar? Even on easy, that's kind of ridiculous. Also, the seriously 2.0 from Gears was not meant for just one play through. I believe it counts in online and horde mode, along with the story mode. I've been through story mode once on Normal and got 1300 kills. More enemies in harder difficulties and a couple of plays through, a while on horde mode, and x amount of hours online, and you've got yourself an achievement.

Well I'd have to say the one in WoW where you have to kill all the alliance leaders, atleast on my server it's impossible the alliance buggers outnumber us 3 to 1 and thats the whole Horde of Nagrand not just our 40-man raid.

The "Cr0wned" achievment is that one where you have to give a witch a headshot right? I don't know it exactly but that one is actually easy to get. There is even a guide on YouTube which shows you how to do it.

Yeah I haven't even gotten it yet. I tried for about a half an hour and got fed up with it lol. I'm going to try it again later after I get some more achievements

For me, the hardest is the 'Mile High Club' on CoD:4. Can't do it. Tried so many times. I give up.

Amen Brothter. I think I have every achievment in that game exept for that one. I quit trying and my bloodpressure thanked me for it.
