You are in a warehouse surrounded by zombies. You have 24 hours before they break in. You have an assortment of weapon parts, vehicles, and miscellaneous junk, hell you even have the basic chassis for a mech. What do you build?

Here is the catch. It has to be a non-conventional weapon. It can be nothing from a game, and it CANNOT be unrealistic. It has to be something that would function and work in a real life situation.

Have fun =]

Edit: I have already defined unrealistic. Technicly, building a mech is possible, just not one from Gundam or District 9. Oh and i said nothing from a game... I'm looking at you Jakeinator =P ¬_¬ Name Thief...

Make a remote control mech, completely loaded with dynamite. Large explosion, happiness all around. If I could find an engine/rockets, I could make some sort of rocket cart with a flat front face to crush me a path out.

Well, considering I have the basic chassis for a mech, I'd strap on a flamethrower, a machine gune and some close combat stuff - Probably a chainsaw - and go to town. Set zombies on fire, cut 'em to pieces and fire the machine gun wildly, screaming "MOAR DAKKA!"
In somewhat more realistic terms, I tend to think defensively in situations like that, so I'd probably build traps, fortify a position and mastermind the traps from there. Culminating in a glorious self-destruct explosion if things go badly.

Define basic chassis for a Mech, what's missing and is it all working/powered? I like the idea of stomping around with a Mech laughing maniacally whilst tearing zombies limb from limb :p

EDIT: See above post for a similar train of thought to my own lol

Hang on - we have the basic chassis for a mech, but our ideas aren't allowed to be unrealistic? How does that one work, precisely?

OT: If we have assorted weapons and vehicles then I guess the blades are coming off said assorted weapons and getting welded to the outside of one of the cars knocking about, and in 24 hours I will slice a bloody four wheel drift through the gathering horde. Until my petrol runs out. Then I bite a bullet.

I make a makeshift sword from either sheet metal, or metal piping. Not to mention the fact that I usually carry a pocketknife around with me (just because I like knives, I'm not a violent person, I usually don't carry it to school either, that's just retarded).

When I was going through Dynasty Warriors 4 phase, I taught myself some basic sword moves. It's nothing compared to someone with actual training I'm sure, but at least I won't accidentally lop myself to pieces while slashing through waves of zombies.

I'd probably pick a blowtorch and a carrying-harness for the gasfuel. Some sort of "flame projector".

Or, I'd just do what Jakeinator suggested. Paddlesaw until I get to safety, or get munched by zombies.

Hmmm... I would use the mech chasis to create hardcore armour no zombie could penetrate. Then I'd make me some sort of flail using chainsaws ^_^ My armour would also give me extra strength :L

I'll just need some dirt, anything that looks like blood and a mirror.

Rough up your appearance and practice your zombie walk in the mirror.
Why fight if you can just (slowly) walk out the front door.

You have the bare minimum required for it to work. =] it can walk, run, punch and jump, but you have to figure out a way to power it, and how to link and power all of the things you put on it

I'd probably pound down the curved parts of a shovel so that it is kind of like a halberd, and then weld my aluminum bat to the opposite side for pushing back zombies. And assuming I still had some time left over, I'd take the chain off of a chainsaw, wrap it around the bat, and weld it on.
If I could break through the crowd, I could probably outrun the zombies
