Thief: Deadly Shadows, Condemned: Criminal Origin and Doom 3: Collector's Edition.
I never did finish Thief 3, my Xbox died on one of the last (or I believe the last) level; we traded the Xbox in and bought a 360 the next day.

I don't regret any of these.

Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction for the original xbox. Best $20 I ever spent. I never knew C4 in a game could be that much fun

That last impulse buy I ever made was an anime called Ruin Explorers, because someone had told me it was like Slayers. In short, it sucked so hard and so painfully that it instilled in me a horror of impulse buys to rival my fear of the Men in White Coats and I haven't made one since. This has prevented me from making impulse buys on games, so, to answer your question, no, I haven't.

Tony Hawk's Project 8. I had enjoyed Underground 1 & 2 but this sucked. The story ended right at the good part which completely ruined it for me, plus the maps sucked.
Serious? I thought Underground 2 was the worst of all of them. I beat the story is about 45 minutes.
I enjoyed Underground and Underground 2 the most, due to their sheer randomness.

yeah, ping pals for the nintendo DS

from then on out, I ALWAYS RESEARCH MY GAMES
I feel your pain. I was only 10 when I bought it. Who knew it was a worse version of pictochat that no one in the world owns.

Another impulse buy of mine was Valhalla Knights for the PSP. And that game was horrible even though IGN spent five months making it seem like the next coming of Jesus. And the best part? They did the same thing for the second game while not acknowledging the 5-6 score they gave the first and then gave the second a 4.0 score. My trust in IGN fell so much I haven't visited that site ever again
Do you? Were you the only one you knew who bought the blasted thing *laughs* Nahhh but yeah, horrible game if you can even call it that.

Pretty much every game I own before they became $60. I regret some of them, others much less so.

That's a risky thing to do. Like spending 20 dollars on a hooker. You don't know what you're gonna get.

Did it with Diablo. Very pleasent Surprise. Also Betrayal in Antara. Not a very pleasent surprise.

I'm not sure how or why I learned to read reviews, but I'm glad I did at an early age and It's saved me a lot of headaches and wasted money.

I just bought Condemned 1 and 2 for almost $20, I just went with everyone's praises of the game, and I don't regret it. I barely played Condemned 1 for half an hour and it is already quite good.
