In a multiplayer match, at what point do you give up?

Well depends on the game.
In Bad Company 2:
-Retarded teammates
-Teams of snipers (either my team or the enemy)
In Modern Warfare 2:
-More than 3 enemies with any of the following:
Tactical Knife
Commando
Noob tube + danger close
Sniper rifles
-Glitch exploits
-Campers
-Whiny 12 year olds
-Matches on Rust
And of course in any game, mind-raping LAG.
I've found that it is MUCH more common to rage quit in MW2 on account of the massive number of abused overpowered class combinations and tactics. In Bad Company I almost never quit matches because the game is much more balanced and there really isn't anything that can repeatedly kill me enough times to get me frustrated.

I don't see any reason to quit. So your losing? Big deal. We all lose every now and then.
Have I dropped nukes that angered people? Yes. Have I stayed for a nuking from the other team? Yes.
And yes I have a Danger Close class with "n00b-tube" and RPG. But only to compliment my killstreaks which are explosive and air support heavy.

If I'm with a team who behave halfway decently, I won't give up unless we're getting repeatedly curbstomped. If my team-mates act in a rude and foul-mouthed manner, I teamswitch.

call it stubborn but i have not rage quit no matter how bad ive been doing i just stick it out to the end
Eh I can't say I never ragequit, but plenty of times I've gone me only V. the WORLD!!!!

When I die over and over and over, also when your entire team leaves and its just you and 2-3 guys against a full team
People who aren't skilled don't really bother me. It's jerks sand little kids on M rated games that bother me.
Racism by team, constant spawn killing (Namely on TF2 or MW2), or team killers (Namely Halo 3 ore MW2)
I only ever quit when the match is done. Last horrible game I remember playing was MW2, these guys had memorized the entire map down to the last detail. When the match started I was sniped. then they all took up positions and started just mowing down my team. Everyone on my team left but me. I played til The match ended by myself, then I quit.
