Thanks to the wiki I got the pic from, I just learned that it lowers enemy morale by 20%, making them flee more often.

Explains quite a lot, actually.

Oh man, that explains so much! I love using the dagger, it's so much cooler than a sword, but holy crap did people run from me. Actually it worked out quite well, that way I could throw my battleaxe in the back of their head.

I am not a subtle assassin.
