Just use a powerful enough weapon that the bullet goes through the child and into his evil father, killing them both.

Wasn't this part of the first Bourne movie?
I'd kill the kid, one life added to all the tohers I've taken won't matter much.

One day, that child will seek me out for revenge.

And I will await him.

For the cycle of revenge never ends.
That's why you kill them now. Get one up on the system. It's like why you don't send people to kill someone, do it yourself and why you don't explain your plans to the hero, you just kill the bastard.
It's against the rules, man.

You don't disobey the rules.

This is how it must be.
Fuck the rules. If the other villain's disaprove then I don't care, I'll kill them too. Without expalining my plan to them!

I'd seriously consider leaving it, unless the guy had destroyed absolutely everything in my life - and even then I think I'd reconsider.

If they fight dirty and aren't above using distractions like their kid leaving the room as a chance to become armed/make a move, then I'd take care of them before they'd even stood up. That, or if they're the kind of person who'd teach their kid to be an assassin from day one.

If it's a more direct and honorable fighter I'd probably give them the chance to send the kid away first, as they knew this would be the end for them both unless granted some mercy.

Without knowledge of what the person is really like, aside from the one thing they did to make go on a murder spree for revenge, I probably wouldn't take any chances, and finish them immediately. Offering to the kid "You're welcome to come looking for revenge when you're a little older if you want to, no promise you'll succeed though" before smacking them unconscious.

Ah, a Kill Bill fan!

I would probably do this, except instead of giving the kid a chance, I would yell "LOL JK!", and shoot him/her anyway.

i know .. if it was a baby then i'd cap the guy anyway

the fact that he has a child means nothing .. he has to face the consequences of his action

if the child is old enough to have been manipulated by his father then i'll kill it too, if not i'll take the child and make sure it gets a proper upraising under extreme supervision and when he or she are of mature age they will be informed of their father and their history

Make an aggrement to fight the father after the child goes to sleep.

-

Edit: Now that the age is verified at 12, I'd probably still do the above.

Considered something similar, raising the child i mean. Although you have to consider if you would be able to possibaly deal with some of the grife that came along with raising the child of a person you killed.

That and they might turn on you if they knew you killed there parent.

I shall kill my enemy.

And just as my enemy killed my Father, the child will seek me out and destroy me, for I killed his father.

My child shall seek him.
Then his child.
Then his.
The cycle never ends.

Kill my enemy and his wife. In the future/sequel, the child will come and hunt me down for vengeance. As he draws his weapon, I will shoot him in the face. No monologue will be involved from my part, although I might have a little conversation beforehand.

We'd become friends, and rule the world together.
But I'd get the kid addicted to videogames! Muahahaha!

OR I'd bust out a MAD LUTE SOLO and confuse the hell out of both of them.
