in saints row i found the game wanted me to play a black guy with all the talk of homies and cribs that when i tried to play as an englishman first i couldn't do itRatRace123 said:Did you ever find yourself growing attached to one of the builds you made, so much so that you consider that one to be the "true" one?
Like for example, in Saints Row 2 I beat the game with a Bald, pale British guy with a purple fedora and matching zoot suit, and now it just kinda feels wrong to play it any other way.
Anyone else have this happen?
So I'm not the only one...Lieju said:...but currently with Cockney-accented Albert Wesker.
And if you get bored or disturbed by the character being Wesker, you can dye his hair white and he becomes Spike from Buffy.Azure-Supernova said:Yes. I get extremely attached. I've only played Dunmer in Oblivion and since I started playing WoW I'm having trouble adjusting to anything other than a male Blood Elf...

I played the second one with as a girl with purple cornrolls, Alice Cooper make-up, a purple cheerleading skirt, and electrical tape over her nipples. Seems weird to see people playing with different characters.RatRace123 said:Did you ever find yourself growing attached to one of the builds you made, so much so that you consider that one to be the "true" one?

Ahh! why didn't i think of that?Suilenroc said:yes in saints row 2 as well British accent, spiky hair looks a bit like Sid Vishos from Sex Pistols.
I have a basis for how I like a character to look if I can customise and sometimes I do get attatched but I then play a female character which I'm for more open with (don't know why :S) also Mass Effect is one of the few games where I don't (I have only played the second one) but it didn't seem to matter what I did my character looked the same so I felt like I was barely doing anything to him.RatRace123 said:Did you ever find yourself growing attached to one of the builds you made, so much so that you consider that one to be the "true" one?

Ha, yeah, same here. I'm getting the PS3 version and just recently jotted down my character's attribute codes or whatever they are, so I can take her, give her a different background, different skin tone (since my regular Shepard is pale from spending all her time in space ships all her life) and play an alternate life.Veldaroth said:The Mass Effect games. Every time I try to replay the games, I tend to make her look almost the same cause it seems weird to play as a completely different character.
