Tomorrow, March 4th, will be the anniversary of Gary Gygax's death. As I'm sure you know, Gygax created Dungeons & Dragons, and is generally considered the father of modern role-playing games. It is safe to say that, if it had not been for D&D, the CRPGs so many of enjoy would certainly be extremely different from how they are, and may not have even existed at all.
As such, I suggest that all D&D players carry their dice with them tomorrow, in memory of him.
To further honour his memory, I suggest that this thread be used for anecdotes and stories of D&D games you have been in. Try to make them entertaining; there's no point in being maudlin. After all, I think we can safely assume that he's already rolled another character.
