Nothing THAT different, just a lot of subtle stuff that adds up.

What is the first thing I do? Sue the scientists.

Negative: F Day has occured and everything has gone to hell.

Positive: Everyone can choose to become a cyborg, religion isn't major anymore, everyone has at least 2000$ in their pocket and we have infinite life either through spawning or becoming near immortal. Oh and that my robot army is ready to begin plan 78.

Even in a hundred years, there are still no hover/flying cars, robot walking in public and still no outer space related things (spaceship, space travel etc). Regardless of that I'm still content since hopefully I can catch up with my anime shows and web comics.

I dont think things will be different deep down. On the sruface yeah. But there will always be shady back room deals and corruption to exploit. Just hopefully people will have lost prior knowledge so i can pull a Bernie Madoff or soemething.

I don't think things will be that much different. Look at what people expected by the year 2000. Flying Cars? still haven't purrfected VTOL yet. Androids? Not even close. Space Travel? Right, we're ALMOST moving backwards on that front.

I would think a lot of progress would be made, but let's be honest here. This is 100 years we're talking about. 100 years isn't what it used to be, it's more or less one lifetime. I'm sure we'll still be here on this rock fighting the same fights we are now. We might finish a couple wars, start some knew ones, but largely the earth will remain unchanged.

I see a breakdown of society followed by massive population death by (insert WMD here) and the struggle of those humans left alive to rebuild culture.
Or, Idiocracy in which case everyone is too stupid to really live and everything is automated so people don't have to be smart anymore... Or (case 3) Wall-E.

asuming gundam,s UC starts in 2045 I would expect Space colony,s and Mobile suits with some fast calculating AD 2110 would be around UC0065 wich sets it well after the colony constructions

I wake up in a nuclear wasteleand, the air filled with CO2 and see some retarded fat people lining up at a bombed-out mcdonalds run by slavers while making contact with the remenants of soceity through facebook.

I look at the ground and see a newspaper article about a colony on the newly-terraformed moon and I spend the rest of my life fruitlessly trying to get a rocket up there.

New and better technology. Same old problems. I doubt that we'll become some Utopia state in just 100 years. I also doubt that we'll have wiped ourselves out. I imagine that we'll still mostly be on Earth, with some very expensive space stations to live on and maybe a colony on the moon (but not public).

A. zombies, nuclear apocalypse, or robots.

B. I'm the only one not in the matrix.

C. humanity went intergalactic.

D. we found god and he was like "oh, ya! Totally forgot about you guys back when you were mass murdering people in the middle east in order to impress me! Say, do you mind if I use your planet to make awesome creatures again? Don't take this personally, but the dinosaurs were way cooler than humans could ever be.

I suspect that the overall differences between now and then will not be that impressive in some ways. Things like the telephone etc, would be majorly different for someone from 1910, except they had that. They had radio, we have colour TV. I think we would be most impressed by the democratization of all these technologies and by how varied every person's life would be from every other persons. It seems as though the trend in highly developed societies is one of increasing specialization. So, there would be people who do something very small seeming - say coding one specific type of device only, for their career.

Dunno, I'm not a great futurist I think.

If there is no power armour I'm going to be severely disappointed.
There will be brother, there will be. America and japan are working hard at it and soon we shall all be wearing terminator armor to work and on the train. Such a glorious future i see for us.
