...Halo 3

...Anyone?
It's sold millions of copies and it's online community is still strong to this day, how is that a flop?

Some fairly recent Crash game... "Crash of the Titans" I think. I don't know a single person who bought that.
Heck, I think they released another one after that. If they did, my vote goes to... whatever that was.

the worst game any man, woman, or child has ever untill the end of time has had the great misfortune to play is ( drumroll please)

dununununununununununununununu Bing!

Two worlds, that steaming pile of grotesce shit.

as for flop? I'd have to say Too human. I was prepared for a futuristic RPG but what I got was, well, watch Yaghtzee'z review honestly.

Fable.

The first one, you know, before Peter Molyneux had his current reputation. I actually pre-ordered that damn game, and after I got it home and ended up beating it in six hours...I felt completely ripped off. Fifty bucks I ended up wasting. Ugh.

Silent Hill 5 for me.

All the other games, even if they had outstandingly bad gameplay/design choices (I'm looking at you, SH4), at least had good stories and kinda neat monsters and such. SH5 was just SH2:

"I'm looking for my wife/little brother, I have issues (few too many bites from the crazy bug, but I won't remember/realize that until the end, hohoho), I may or may not have murdered my wife/little brother but for some reason I can't remember it."

Yeah... real original. Try to pull your asses out of the box and into the creativity pool for SH6 please.

As someone who experienced this game first hand...I don't think flop is strong enough of a word. It was an ATROCITY. If we were in conflict with the developer, it would have been a WAR CRIME.

Saints Row on PC.
I can't believe I played $50+ for this goddamn piece of shit.

Now for some origial content: Although I am a goddamn massive Fallout fangirl the ending to Fallout 3 felt like the the worst betrayal video games had visited upon me in at least the last 10 years.

The worst flop of all time? Twilight Princess, easily. The runner-up is ME2, which is in turn followed closely by KOTOR 2.

The worst game of all time? ^I don't know^, but I thought Lost Odyssey was nothing short of painful.
Gah! What? What do you have against Mass Effect 2? And KOTOR 2?! WHAT ARE YOU!?

Sorry, I'm a fan of the games.(obviously) No offense, just had to be said, and I respect your opinion.

I think it was called "Big Rigs", it was some kind of truck racing game.
I do believe it was the only modern game to get a score of zero pretty much from everyone.

I'm going to judge a big flop as something being really expensive to make then not selling that much and changing the fortune of a major publisher.

I'll go for Shenmue. Games are released all the time that are moderately expensive to make then go on to disappoint gamers and sell nothing compared to the hit games. Shenmue sold better than that but at the time is was said to be the most expensive game ever with people saying that it could not make it's money back unless it changed the fortunes of the Dreamcast and sold millions of new units. It didn't. These days SEGA is out of the console business and creatively is a dim shadow of it's former self. That's some flop.

For me it would have to be FF XIII. I got it day after release (UK) and have struggled to play 7-8 hours of it, then, and still to this day, I have never played it again.

Older games it would have to be any game that comes from a film. Bad boys and fight club come to mind.

And retro gamming, I think the worst would of had to be Barbie for the NES simply ecause my sister had it and its Barbie lol

Hi everyone, I'm from the future... now that that's out of the way, I choose every single Kinect release, I would choose Kinect itself but I'm trying to stay on topic.
