I loved it, although it wasn't a deep story. Just a really creative and interesting one (unless it's been done before, but I don't think it has)
The concept didn't blow my mind at all, the excecution of the movie however was excellent.shootthebandit said:i know im late to the party but this film blew my mind. It explores so much about the subconscious and how we perceive reality and the world around us. i also noticed at the end that the entire events of the film where just a single dream he had from a legitimate buisness trip and that the dream manifested from his feelings for his dead wife
i may be wrong but the story was very deep and i thoroughly enjoyed it
what did you think of the story? did you enjoy it? was your mind blown?
I'm confused. How exactly did it stop playing by its own rules?CCountZero said:Wholeheartedly agree.FargoDog said:It was pretty good until the last act wherein it completely fell apart. The film decided to stop playing by its own rules, which always pisses me off.
I don't mind when a movie makes it's own reality, but when it actually takes the time to explain it to you, and then fucks up it's own physics... that I cannot stand.
On the subject, it was a good movie and it deserves a place in my collection, but I don't feel that it was particularly deep, or even a very groundbreaking plot, at all.
I'll file it under "Eye Candy" along with Avatar.
I liked both of them equally but in different ways. Both really made you think about things that normally we take for granted.yellingatpixels said:if you liked Inception: try the Prestige. My husband and I liked it better
Your gonna get the hate for generalising. Where the hell is all this hate your talking about?Frozen Donkey Wheel2 said:I loved the crap out of it, but you're gonna catch a lot of hate for this. People here really like hating popular things because it's "edgy" or whatever.
