I loved it, although it wasn't a deep story. Just a really creative and interesting one (unless it's been done before, but I don't think it has)

i know im late to the party but this film blew my mind. It explores so much about the subconscious and how we perceive reality and the world around us. i also noticed at the end that the entire events of the film where just a single dream he had from a legitimate buisness trip and that the dream manifested from his feelings for his dead wife

i may be wrong but the story was very deep and i thoroughly enjoyed it

what did you think of the story? did you enjoy it? was your mind blown?
The concept didn't blow my mind at all, the excecution of the movie however was excellent.

Blown away is the wrong word but rather a bit amused. It looked a bit too ambitious, fight scenes were horrible but the ending is good.

It didn't blow my mind, but it was very entertaining. I loved the concept because it allowed the movie to go bathshit insane while still being believable because the weirdest stuff can happen in dreams. Unfortunately, it didn't fully use that potential. Still fun, though.

No, but it was epic, couldn't keep my eye's of the screen during the dream. I didn't really find it to be a powerful film if that makes any sense, not particularly deep or memorable.

I just watched it there (you picked a nice time to discuss this!) and while I thought it was a great movie, I don't consider my mind blown by any means.

I loved the crap out of it, but you're gonna catch a lot of hate for this. People here really like hating popular things because it's "edgy" or whatever.

I thought it was awesome, and a really cool movie.

It wasn't the best movie I've ever seen, nor the most mind-blowing, but it was awesome.

It was pretty good until the last act wherein it completely fell apart. The film decided to stop playing by its own rules, which always pisses me off.
Wholeheartedly agree.

I don't mind when a movie makes it's own reality, but when it actually takes the time to explain it to you, and then fucks up it's own physics... that I cannot stand.

On the subject, it was a good movie and it deserves a place in my collection, but I don't feel that it was particularly deep, or even a very groundbreaking plot, at all.

I'll file it under "Eye Candy" along with Avatar.
I'm confused. How exactly did it stop playing by its own rules?

if you liked Inception: try the Prestige. My husband and I liked it better
I liked both of them equally but in different ways. Both really made you think about things that normally we take for granted.

It blew my mind. I think I may have missed a bit of the end but it blew my mind away. It was an amazing movie!

It gave me about the same feeling I got after finishing The Escapist's recent puzzle thing, but without the accomplishment part.

I thought it was a great movie, and yes, my mind was blown. Although, I can probably say that for ever Nolan film I watched. You can go in and enjoy it as fun action movie if you wish. The film is subtle and the themes/messages don't get in the way. However, the film can be analyzed later after viewing and its actually pretty deep; much more than people seem to be giving it credit for in this thread.
The process of watching the film itself parallels with a lot of events in the movie. Performing inception on the audience is the director's (Nolan's) goal. There's plenty of other things the film gets into as well.

I loved the ending, at first it feels like a cop out, but when you think about it isn't at all. It doesn't matter what happens to the top.

Also, if hasn't been said yet the soundtrack was amazing.

Good movie, but I wasn't "blown away" by it. Just a nice little addition to the collection, but nothing that truly shocked or impressed me.
