I watched it for the second time last night.
Wth is wrong with you? It's clearly stopping!
They just cut off before you saw it stop, but it was stopping.Anyway that was sucky of them and I hate them,they should have ended it at the airport,it was so epic.

The whole point Christopher Nolan was making there was that at that point, we can't know whether he got out of limbo or not. But, does it really matter? In one, he's happy ending, in the other, it's the sort of horrible horrible coma that he'll eventually wake from and then probably blow his brains out. But, knowing him, he probably won't leave even if he does determine its not real.
Either way it was a great movie. Defining it would really only cheapen it. I mean, why have us think the rest of the movie and then hand it to us on a silver platter? That'd just be insulting.

Well about 10 minutes after, me and my friend discussed about 5 equally plausible ends to the movie. It' pretty open to interpretation. The whole totem thing could also be linked to Mal directly; it's her totem, so when she's purged from his dreams (say level 1 and deeper), she might have no way of affecting it, so it could fall of it's own accord. It might fall in the "real world" because Cobb believed it to be the real world.
The whole first act is cut in a way that he seems to jump from place to place; he meets Michael Caine out of nowhere and sees hit at the end, and we never see him mention the whole plan to him. Up until the point of the operation, they cut from place to place, whereas you see almost everything happen in the dream. Yeah, this is just editing, but he subtly drew attention to it when he and ariadne were talking in the coffee shop and he asks her how they got there. It alludes to the whole first act being a dream , which Mal also hints at later.

OT: I liked Inception but I wouldn't call it the best movie of the year.
