Just look at this

Yeah amazing
I agree, that game had some amazing shots. Too bad none of it carried over into Crysis 2.
Have you run the game with the new high resolution texture pack and the DX11 pack? It's really impressive. Unfortunately my game is suffering annoyingly low frame rates with these features enabled. It's the first game yet that I've had to put some settings on the lowest available (water and shadows on "high", everything else on "very high")

Get your ass to the Shiverpeaks and take some screens from Beacon's Perch. Gorgeous view.

Pretty much the entire Witcher 2.

Check out my album of screens from just the first 1/5 or so of the game.

Here's some excerpts:

Also, the latest Fallout games:

Oh yes, definitively the Shiverpeaks in Eye of The North are nothing short of stunning, but those are quite old screenshots, I took them like 2 or 3 years ago and I haven't got the chance to take some new screenshots.

I am a sucker for snowy environments, or a frozen waste land that was once inhabited. I found this screen from a bit of random googling, I was actually looking for a picture on uncharted 2 but instead ended up with this from metro 2033.

I see your Halo: Reach and raise you Halo 3.

And the best thing about it? All those beautiful images were taken from the multiplayer maps, of all places. And people say multiplayer gaming can't be art...

And now time to raise myself some Homeworld.

The terrain form Fallout 3 and Fallout NV are stunning. I have found myself staring at the strangely beautiful radioactive wastes, in awe by the scenery before me. There's something appealing about the combination of beauty and danger.
