Indivisible's IndieGogo Campaign will finish in 4 days and it seems it will make it after all.
So I decided to to create this thread for a question I have and an awesome idea which would be cool to see in the game:

The Question:

If you pay 1000 Dollars or higher, you will have the opportunity to create either a NPC, a Incarnation, an enemy, a Boss, or even all of them. The only rule is that whatever is made needs to fit the game.
This...seems odd to me...
Because right now we have a very obscure/out the place official cast, like a hunter with a rifle, a woman warrior with no arms, a power ranger, a barbarian woman, a fighting nun, a woman pirate with a canon to her shoulders, an aztec warrior, an indian woman, a hawaiian girl with a wooden chainsaw sword, a woman singer with a cybernetic talking sword, a knight with a shovel, a girl with a giant iron fist, a half-Genie girl, a humanoid Raptor with a surfboard, a magical girl with a rabbit doll, a warriro with a lazer sword, a mexican wrestler...
You get the idea.
If you ask me this seems like the most AWESOME CrossOver ever made.
But someone may ask, What kind of restrictions a patron have to create a character when himself/herself see this kind of ridiculous cast?

Here is the pictures with the Incarnations I mentioned:

The Idea:

We already know our hero, Ajna, have the ability to summon Incarnations to help her which many of them are guest characters from other games, like Shovel Knight, Anna, Red, Shantae, Calibretto, etc.

But what if there is a antagonist with the same ability: A rival which can also summon incarnations to his/her side?
What if some of the antagonist's Incarnations are villains from other games as well, like King Knight, Double, Risky Boots, etc.
I would LOVE to see something like this.

What do you think for all this?

I don't think something that big of a deal in the game's lore would be from a backer. Either Lab Zero would want to put it in themselves or not at all.

Anyway, I'm in the $1000 tier so I'm going to have my own NPC in it (with their permissions, of course). I'm developing a game myself and I'm TOTALLY going to have the NPC resemble the main character of my game. Now, she is a robot, and I can't have one straight up be in Indivisible, so I've got the idea of having a golem who essentially is one, assuming golems do exist in the lore.

Why not have a robot for an NPC? It have literally a dozen of out of place characters. If you seek more outside the Indiegogo site, there are far more weird characters which had been releaved. I mean there is a girl with a wooden chainsaw sword. Why this make sense?

Things like a wooden chainsaw and giant power fist can be invented during a nondescript time period, whereas my robot character is literally from the future with AI. And I don't think it can be compared to the guest characters because they're allowed to break reality (since they aren't technically canon to the lore and backer characters are).

Either way, I admire your interest in getting exactly what I want so I'll ask them if I can actually get a robot in the game before thinking up designs anyway.

No problem. Btw, can I see the character you are talking about?

If you are asking whether it would be cool, then I think this would definetely be cool.
If you are asking if you should send them such a character, then I'd say no, because a spot of an antagonist will surely be given to their own creation.

Oof. Can't whip up something at the moment, I'm going to wait until they actually get funded until I try my hand in designing the character's outfit that would fit Indivisible. When it does though, I'll message you.

Awesome, right?! I have no idea where all these supporters came from, or why they took so long... ain't complaining though. Anyway, since you asked:
Please excuse my inability to draw hands and feet...

I was not going to contribute but then I played the prototype and wanted to see more I thought it had a few issues but for a prototype it was pretty great. Secondly once Shantae was announced that was it as I love that character so I backed em for 60. I hope the game does not disappoint.

I was unsure they would make the goal tbh but pleased they have. Wonder if both stretch goals will be made.

I'd imagine the restriction is mostly just a disclaimer/failsafe veto right. I'm sure that even if a design didn't quite fit, they'd work with the backer to make an acceptable edit, compromise to work it in. But, if you have no restrictions, you just know some prat is gonna drop $1000 and demand that their creation, the legendary Cock-gobbling Cock Goblin, makes it into the game.

Maybe if the backer put a hat on the goblin's d*ck, maybe the developers will think is enough for a clever censoring.

I feel you. I like drawing myself, but most of the time I just can't draw the thing I want....
The trick is to be patient....a lot of patient because you will lose the game instead...

A trick you can test is to try to draw something upside down. With this trick the brain trying to draw of what you see NOW, not the object which you REMEMBER.
For example, you want to draw a chair. You will start drawing it as how you remember it and you will probably fail because you just drawing without paying attention. But if the photo of the chair is upside down, you fool your brain and with that you make sure you take your time to draw the "unknown" object.

Did the Escapist or other game sites (besides, always great, Siliconera) posted news about the game or the funding?

Because, considering the cast and the fact that is an indie game I think progressists would be drooling all over it.

Could you direct me at the sites and news about it? Thanks.
