DID SOMEONE SAY SWAAAAAAAG?The Wykydtron said:BlazBlue gives children the exact wrong impression on what appropriate battle gear is. It is only a matter of time until girls go boxing wearing half a shirt, a quarter of what used to be a pair of shorts, thigh high stockings and stylish running shoes. Not to mention men going into battle with nothing but an incredibly stylish suit and matching hat on.
Godforbid someone who plays these games gets into military clothing design. We'll have women wearing nothing but metallic thongs and half a bikini instead of armour in no time. Plenty of leg protection though.

The amount of Swag in the world would increase considerably however. This should be taken into account.

corrected... I hate dark souls due to how much of a broken game it is.MeChaNiZ3D said:Dark Souls teaches children to choose more appropriate games that don't pretend to be high in difficulty when really it's just a boring drone of a game with a lack of story and combat with the only difficulty being if you can or can't hit that enemy sooner than he or it hits you....
i dont think fox news or these really old out of touch politicians would have a problem with that thoughCopper Zen said:![]()
Dragon Age: Origins is teaching us that being born different should warrant persecution. It also teaches us that genocide is perfectly acceptable when authorized by state religions.
Well then what we have here is a difference in opinion. Dark Souls does not have a blatant storyline, it has a hidden one that you have to intuit yourself from enemy placement, NPC dialogue and item descriptions. I like that because I am willing to put the time and effort in to piece it together, and dislike being told what to do by NPCs to advance the plot. You, apparently, would like the storyline handed to you and always clear, which is fine too, play just about any other game. If you think hitting the enemy first is the best way to deal with them, you have not tried parrying, although when you have a strong enough weapon it can be a good strategy, but only for weak enemies. There is no choice in the game that you cannot recover from, and starting class is especially insignificant for PvE, although killing every NPC will make the game harder. Have you ever heard a Dark Souls player say that the fun part IS being frustrated? No, because it isn't, it's the challenge and the satisfaction of overcoming it. Apparently to you that doesn't matter, because there will be another challenge and you'll have to overcome that, and for some reason you think the game should just give up once you've beaten the first difficult boss. I assure you it has no 'lack of combat', and the depth of combat with the majority of weapons having unique movesets is more than in most games. My final point, if you think it is only pretending to be difficult and isn't actually difficult, why do you get destroyed immediately after every victory? You'd think if it wasn't difficult you might've done a bit better. Where did you get up to, out of curiosity? I can't believe anyone who has beaten Ornstein and Smough would be so quick to discredit the satisfaction of overcoming a difficult challenge.CharrHearted said:corrected... Oh, you didn't choose that at the beginning? LOL, guess you'll have to restart? I think i'l stick to games that have a big storyline, fun and intuitive gameplay and can be challenging at the same time without lossing the games fun factor, only thing dark souls can do is frustrate gamers, seriously, what's so fun about getting angry and feeling depressed? Oh and don't pull the whole "it's the achievement when you finally beat the boss" well no, it isn't because you instantaneously get destroyed and depressed again moments after... I hate it.
