Instrumental music is great. I do love me some classical music, and I also listen to instrumental rock. As far as jazz goes, the only stuff I listen to regularly is Weather report's Heavy weather and Django Reinhardt. That and take five [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmDDOFXSgAs]. It's awesome. I should listen to it more.

Vocals can enhance most any type of music, but there are some instrumental bands I like; most of them are post rock. Explosions in the Sky is one of my favorite bands and I always enjoy some Godspeed You! Black Emperor or Mogwai.

I only enjoy dark and depressing instrumentals. Usually with piano and electronic distortions. It's a good thing, but I wouldn't be able to listen to a band that ALWAYS did that. It's like a nice treat.

I just love vocals. I'm almost ALL about lyrics and the sound of the vocalist.

I don't listen to as much instrumental stuff as I used to, but some of my favourite artists are those who do mainly instrumental work. Mike Oldfield, Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Kitaro, Agatsuma, Keiko Matsui, Tangerine Dream, etc.

I listen to it quite a lot. Its mostly jazzy fusion music, or classical music. I also make instrumentals to make up for the fact I (or anyone else I know) can't sing, but I have found I can express emotions that couldn't be done with words.

I usually listen to music with lyrics, but I love the odd instrumental piece like YYZ (Rush) Woodpeckers from Mars (Faith no More) and especially Eruption (Van Halen)

I love instrumentals because they can capture emotions without the need of any lyrics.

Whether it be YYZ by Rush or Isara by Eluveitie, I love many instrumentals.

Metal is all about the instruments and the skill and art invoked when playing them.

That is why I fucking love instrumentals, even if most of them album is instrumentals.

Just take Warmen's albums for example, good classic masterpieces, hardly any vocals, but who cares?
