the world constantly disapoints me, why should i expect anything different from the gaming industry? I don't pc game, i see no point when compared to console games, but that's just me.
Exactly this. In the case of music piracy, there has been a study showing that pirates actually spend MORE on music than anyone else, possibly because they have access to a greater variety of content and have already demoed anything they might want to buy. I don't see why the same logic couldn't apply to gaming as well. Especially with PC gaming as it's not possible really to return games if you don't like them and demos are becoming less frequent; why wouldn't you think about pirating a game to see if it's for you then buy it if it is?Hidden_Agenda said:It's not as if some pirates don't buy games, they buy games that they thought were actually WORTH THE MONEY!
