Apparently the trial blocked child porn, but also blocked euthanasia websites, regular porn and even a Queensland dental website. We're going to have this clogging up our Internet. The whole point of the Internet is freedom of expression. God knows we have enough trouble connecting to servers overseas.
Well it started as a way to send information two military bases, but yeah I get your point I guess.

So, America is Nazi-Communist Land because theres a smart black man in charge, but Australia just likes to hug their children? What the hell is going on?!
Well you have to remember in America we didn't mind a crazy cowboy starting war bombing the brown people of another country because he is white(Which he did to A)prove he is a man, B)For oil, C)Bored, D)For his father). Yet the new pres was just elected and is doing the best he can after the one before him screwed up, and people are still fighting over the fact that since he was born in Hawaii(which is a state going by the same flag they worship I remind you) he isn't a real American. This is also a country where a president had an affair in office and went on a moral outrage while the one after him caused all these problems and this "war"(which if I remember was never DECLARED by the government legally) and no one cared...ok enough about one stupid country. But yes I'm sorry for the filters on your internet, but you know how it works though parents fear for the lives of their kids not wanting to watch them though. "Think about the children" you gotta be kidding me, think about YOUR children.

I thought they already had internet censorship? I hope it doesnt slow down the rest of the world.
Also i dont think it will be that effective, i mean Extreme Porn was banned in the UK and that is still accessible.

this sort of thing is why I've been advocating rebellion in australia. Unfortunately my subordinates in the semicontinent are of small number thus far.

If anyone in Oz would like to join my secret group of miscreants, get a top hat and email me

Congrats, you're now officially the sunny version of China!

Minus the communism.
China is far from communist. Deng Xiao changed all that. It's only called "socialist with chinese characteristics" to keep people rooting for the CCP. The "chinese characteristics" being capitalism.

Anyway, you should probably get out while you can.

"Niemand hat die Absicht eine Mauer zu bauen" (nobody intends to build a wall) remember?
You made a whoopsie. The person who said this was leader of the former DDR (which doesn't exist any more, hope you know THAT).
No whoopsie, Walter Ulbricht said it about two months before it was built, I tried to emphasize that people's claims and actual actions tend to differ, sorry if I wasn't clear enough.

The US has a plan to do this as well. You know, our land of the free.

You know, the sad thing is that this is a country that legalised prostitution yet won't abide a little bit of gore in video games.

The politicians get nothing out of gore in games, but a whole lot out of prostitutes and it would be a bad public image to be seen going to them if they were illegal.

Though, that doesn't stop them doing stupid things anyway.
