People are guarenteed to throw shit fits whenever somebody does something that they don't like. You just need get used to it. Especially when it comes to metal.

Absolutely. I reserve the right to judge the shit (at times vocally) out of literally anything. Other people reserve the right to tell me to stuff it, or in a more civil manner why my judgments may be ignorant, ill informed or otherwise incorrect. I guess they also reserve the right to ***** about their mom on an online forum too, but I'm not seeing what this would accomplish.

as far as I can think off I love everything you say it always has a pleasant pessimism about it like your avatar. talking about individuality sometimes when I do thinks people tell me that I am just doing it because someone else did it or when I do something and people tell me I only to it to be different I hate that more then when someone is close minded and won't listen to you about it. what I hate the most is when I say something I don't like and people ask me why I don't like it (Mainly pizza) and I give a good reason (I don't like the taste or texture) but they still tell me why I should like it (it's pizza). I know I say to my friend he should like toy story but his reasons for not liking it is because he thought it said f*** and then he said it in church and his family made jokes about it which is a stupid reason for disliking the movie. he also disliked another movie for saying the f word too much even though he talks like a sailor.

I know. Any time I see some liberal cuntmuffin claim that someone else is obviously a christian, a republican or a freedom hating nazi just because they disagree with them on something really minor like whether gays should be allowed to marry, I just want to execute them on the spot.
What's minor about civil rights?

BA-DUM-TSH.

OT: Funnily enough, you sound particularly intolerant of your Mum's gospel shit.

Funny, cause Hebrew Satan is just one of God's angels that watches the world and gives a status report to God on how everyone is doing.

Then again, the Hebrew God is more human than Buddha half the time.
It's hilarious how many people think Satan and the Angel of Death are the same being.

pleasant pessimism is when someone is being pessimistic but you can't help but smile at it.

My personal rule when it comes to people like that is to remember that in certain peoples mind "if you are ignorant enough you can be right 100% of the time."

Then i just ignore them because no matter what i say i will never be right to them. I just go and find people who agree with me. Saves me a bunch of stress.

It depends what satanism you're buying into.

The translation for all forms of satanism is

"I'm an angsty mofoin teenager and I'm pretending to be a part of this absurd religion to shock you. Because I'm so edgy and different."

How much of a tool that makes you depends entierly on the particular brand you think is coolest.

Just so you know. Satanism isn't a real religion. If you're talking about the tripe Anton LaVey laid out in his 'satanic bible'. It's little more than postured musings on individuality.

It doesn't surprise me that your mother would judge it based on it's name. Because if you're going to call it something like that. You're obviously looking for some kind of reaction from the people you tell.

If you actually want to live by 'the creeds' of individuality and indulgence. Here's a novel idea. Why not just be yourself.

Calling yourself a satanist is just a cheap way of getting a rise out of people.
Who are you to tell others that their faith isn't a real religion?

Its thoughts like that, thats giving us Pastafarians a hard time.

Meh. I for one am incredibly judgmental. I tend to look down somewhat on people who are religious, or do drugs. I also tend to look down on people who tend to be lazy and eat unhealthily, like myself (though not as much as of late :D).
I think everyone judges people, and there's no point pretending that we don't. May as well embrace it.

The difference is, though I judge people I don't act on it. It's easy to compartmentalize thoughts and behavior. Even if I, sadly, have preconceptions about certain people I don't treat anyone differently because of it and I can keep an open mind to anyone's opinions.

I know that's not quite the point of the thread, and I agree I dislike it when someone instantly forms an opinion on something and refuses to change it.
