actually ALL cell phones from the start were "business" phones, they were too expensive to have for anything but that. it wasn't until the early 90s or so that consumer lvl phones came out and that everyone could afford themRAKtheUndead said:The fact that Nokia were doing business phones about half-a-decade before RIM has something to do with it, and the fact that Symbian OS is based on an operating system from the early 1990s, whereas the first fully-featured BlackBerry only came into the market in 2002 has something else to do with it. The Nokia Communicators had the same type of features as the BlackBerry before the BlackBerry was even invented.cleverlymadeup said:actually it IS a BlackBerry knock off, it has the same form factor, the same style keyboard, the same type of features, the same screen style, the same style iconsWhat's next...You're going to tell me the E71 is a BlackBerry knockoff and that it has BlackBerry Connect?
please point out how it's NOT a knock off instead of going after personal insults
as for pushing email and "internet" type stuff, that didn't come until later, this was due to a limit with the networks at the time, most of the older nokia phones were just pdas with phone features and no internet stuff that the blackberry does
