I still love my iPod even though this is the third one I've been through because the other two decided to freeze 50% of the time and randomly skip halfway through songs the other 50% of the time.
I love my zen x fi, I have no need for a fashion accessory =]

Have been an iPodnerd since 2005. Though they are expensive they feel like the perfect MP3-player.

Have a touch Ipod and it's great but there are a few problems. It will without warning get confused and it will just blast the music full power even when it's locked and I haven't touched it. It's scares the shit out of me and it hurts my ears.
creative Zen work so much better. I really hate the way iPods work together with iTunes. and I hate the way that everybody goes out and gets the most brand new iPod soon as it comes out because they need it? no, its just a fashion thing now really, like a stylish hat, or scarf.
My brother has an ipod touch, i've tried to use it a few times, and god I hate the damn thing. The touch screen is too fiddly for me and you have to wipe the screen all the time because of fingerprints, and its full of gimmicky crap like pointless apps you'll never use. I really don't understand the appeal :/ Its like its features are there just for the sake of being there and it throws them in your face all the time. Its pointless. The whole thing would be 100x better with real buttons.
Hate for a number of reasons.
They're basically the MP3 player that marketed themselves to the masses with a shinny finish, and easy to use software. They prey upon people's ignorance with their proprietary m4a formats, wrapping up users entire music collections in ridiculous DRMs which basically require you to stay with ipods for all your future mp3 player purchases. They're overpriced, they're cheaply made, they're pretty much... everything apple stands for.
Creative labs has been making mp3 players far longer than apple, and their line of products are far superior and cheaper.
