Amen to that! I can't stand all the white, it's toooo much and also the fact that it's ALL name brand, you can't get fake Macs. And Ipods are just soooooo cool.DragonChi said:

i have a zune and i have had no poblems with it but i want a touch . BTW yes i wouldnt live without it
I love my iPod.
-It holds all the music I could possibly want and function as a portable hard drive (the storage capacity is 80 gb).
-It still hasn't died or presented any major hardware glitches
-The battery life is fantastic for portable media
-It's really easy to find third-party peripherals
On the flip side, iTunes is one of the worst music-managing programs I've ever seen.
Here's my verdict: If you've got the money, it's a really good choice. I haven't tried out the Zunes yet; regardless, my iPod still hasn't failed me after all these years.
Also, I think iPod Touches / iPhones are a waste of money. The iPod Classic (6th generation, I believe) is my favorite of all the iPods out today.

I have a Sansa. And I love it because it's not only a durable workhorse, but because I don't have to deal with iTunes.
I loved my ipod, gave it nothing but love..used the bullshit that is itunes. Really, couldn't have done more for it....it died within 6 months of me getting it, hell I didn't even care that it cost twice what the competition did. Apple support is absoloute shit, will be a long time before I buy anything from them again, for now I'll just stick with cheaper, reliable hardware.
I like my iPod but sometimes it slows down and speeds up randomly. That's either because it's old or it needs to charge it's batteries.
Have the original ipod nano, best thing ever, has never even froze on me, and it falls all the time and it's still functional! YAY TECHNOLOGY!!!
I miss my old 30gig iPod. It died after a couple years, but it was good to me while it lasted. I bought a flash-based player and miss the extra space. I don't mind iTunes, but Apple's software update is really irritating. Maybe I'll try a Zune next?
I have zen vision M and have never wanted ipods, they're overpriced and the kind of abuse I give my zen(at least 6 hours daily in machine shop conditions) and still have it work makes me think ipod who. Although the ipod touch might be the only ipod actually worth spending the big bucks but the smal harddrives are pathetic have to do better apple.
