If...if I could find mine, I'd say I love them.

Right now, I hate them because mine is missing. I swear it is sentient and ran off.

I tried to use 2 different generations of Ipod and gave them more than 2 weeks each.

4rd Generation failed with in the first week and it took 2 hours for the guy at the idiot bar to get to me. I wound up selling it after I found the 14 hour battery life to be more like 8.

I tried the 5th gen ipod which I had 3 DoAs and the next one failed on me on the way home.

Mind you this could be a strain of "bad luck" but I moved on to my Creative and have never ever looked back.

This is like the 3rd thread I see that is made by you. In less than 3 minutes! Seriously wtf?

Anyways, I never owned an Ipod, so I wouldn't know. Although I do love my Zen player :D

I say anyone who hates an inanimate object needs to get out more ha ha.

But seriously, I own an iPoS and it's temperamental. However, the iTunes music delivery system is awesome and that's why I stay an iHo.

3rd gen ipod nanos are great... all other ipods? not so much...

its light and shirt pocket shaped... the menu controls are occasionally glitchy, but otherwise its very well presented, great backlight, not too expensive, itunes is a good media player, and my case makes it look 1000000xbetter :D

i also like music quiz quite a bit...

i would like to try a zune... but im not american...

I have a the newest generation of touch, got it from the referbished store, have had it for over 6 months and it has worked fine.

Dont get the Itunes hate, it works fine for me and I only really have the Ipod for my car anyways, anyone who buys the majority of their music digitally is weird to me, I have hard copies for all my music(vinyl mostly, Analog > digital).

I USED to love my iPod. It also spazzed out on me not long ago and only works when it wants to. You know why? Because it's a *****. And iTunes? Oh don't get me started on iTunes. The anger and rage it gives me I can not describe!

My mom has had several issues with her iPod. I'm sticking with my Sanza E-series.

I'm not a huge fan. I have an iPod shuffle that I use occasionally, but I dislike having to go through a program to put music on an MP3 player, and the inability to use the space for anything but music.

Amen to that. Not only can I listen to music and video in several formats, but I can use the extra space as storage.

I do miss my iRiver, though. It had ten less gigs than my Zen and no video capability, but I miss having all buttons instead of some buttons and a slider, and the ability to customize playlists without referring to the file properties.

I've only had it for a few weekks and have droped once or twice on a harder surface and it got a dent and thats it. It's my mini escape from having to listen the outside world. I love it and Itunes hasn't given me much of problem.

I hated my iPod when I plugged it in one day and it proceeded to clear its own drive of all my songs collected over the years. I still haven't got all of them back.

I loved my video iPod when I found myself on shrooms, watching Arrested Development under the covers of my hostel bed. It was non stop laughter for a good hour before I became self concious and decided not to watch anymore.

I love iTunes, there is rarely a moment when I don't have songs playing off it when I'm at the computer.

Apparently, every one in a couple hundred iTouches has a factory defect where headphones cease to function. I've had two in a row.

I can now mute, pause and change songs by barely touching my headphone jack.
