Overall it's a very good movie, but it's not as good as the first. The character development is good, Mickey Rourke is great as the villain, and the action scenes do seem to be filled with more, you know, action. But there are a few things keeping it down:
- It doesn't quite have the same charm as the first movie. It tries to replicate it, but it feels kinda forced in some areas.
- Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but I was hoping for more action scenes this time around. As it stands, I'm not sure if there is the same amount or less in the sequel. They certainly have more going on in them, that's for sure.
One last thing, there is a very noticable and questionable scene missing. You know how every trailer showed Tony about to jump out of a helicopter and asks Pepper for a kiss, and then she just kisses the helmet? It's no where to be found in the movie. It just jumps directly to Iron Man jumping out. It's seems like an odd move.

Rhodes seems to know how to operate the armor the second he jumps into it. In the first movie there was a whole scene where Tony was learning how to fly. Naturally, he doesn't quite know what he's doing at first but then perfectly gets the hang of it. The first time Rhodes fly's away he does like he does it completely naturally like he's been doing it for years.
