I have played shooters since 007 for the N64 and to tell you the truth, I am so tired by the generic shooters that companies repackage and resell over and over again, I mean look at MW2 and MW3 they look almost exactly the same. The only difference between the two are campaign and guns. But for games such as Battlefield, I have to give props to the people who made the Frostbite 2 Engine. I mean I still like shooters that have a good storyline and have decent multiplayer/art style, such as games like Bioshock, Fallout, etc., But even the good games get extremely overlooked when AAA shooters come out around the same time. I mean any one remember Brink? I mean sure, open day release there were imperfections one of course being lag, but atleast they are giving it after release fixes. I mean with Black Ops, there wasn't much post-launch fixes, but instead a bunch of MAP PACKS, I dont want map packs that will equal to the cost of the game if there is absoloutly no post-launch support. Look at DICE for example they came out with map packs sure, but they were just different game modes of the same maps, and instead went out and fixed things in game, and the map packs were free, and there was a counter to everything.Even magnum ammo takes a decent ammount of bullets to kill someone with body armor. I dont remember the counter to Grenade Launchers in MW2.
