...I can see what the OP is getting at, and why some of the suggestions here might be missing the point. Yeah, Asui's design is incredibly simplistic, but I think that's the main reason it jumped out at me so much when I first saw her. Her head is modeled after that of a cartoon frog like you'd find in any anime, or perhaps even certain Warner Bros cartoons, she has big dumb hands and feet and she doesn't emote very much. Rather than tacking animal parts on someone, or being specifically designed to titillate, she literally just looks like a frog got bored and decided to spontaneously evolve into a human. Hell, her whole family is like that:

I think it's kinda cool. Y'know, in a less-is-more kinda way. The viewer isn't smacked in the face with their froginess. You can immediately tell they're frogs granted you know how the Japanese draw cartoony frogs. It's also why I like the Inkling designs from Splatoon as well, since we're on the subject. Is it the best? <link=http://orig03.deviantart.net/6f8b/f/2015/272/3/1/muffet_from_undertale_by_lethalauroramage-d9bdt5m.png>Hell no... but I consider it pretty up there.

Curses, the age-old mistake! Mixing up not knowing and not caring.
On the one hand, I'm pretty sure the designers of Senran Kagura are perfectly
aware that the female water balloons of life do not, in fact, move like actual water balloons. Especially not when you so much as turn slightly, and
especially, especially not when wearing a <link=https://otakurepublic.com/media/binary/000/559/708/5004329.jpg>multilayered, button-clad uniform that is almost certainly made out of a sturdy, rigid, snugly fitting material.
Ooonn the other hand... I'm pretty sure if you were to inform them of such, their response would most likey be a unanimous "so...?"
