Is Borderlands worth it alone?

I played Co-op Borderlands fairly intermittently with a mate of myne. We still had fun offline.

The art style, the ridiculous amount of guns, the satisfying gun-play, it can stand up on it's own.

Don't bother with the steam sale- Get the GOTY!
Seriously, it'll be WELL worth it.
I enjoyed it SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much!
However, when my PS3 got corrupted and the data wiped... i kinda dropped out...
That is after i played it back to level 50 again...


Co-op is also good, but i never managed to experiene it fully due to my crappy internet...
But get the GOTY, best purchase you'll ever make! /over-exaggeration

Get the game, get some friends to play with, share the loot and wreck the baddies. With a good group it's a feel-good slaughterfest, and quite a bit of fun, especially for only $5 (I'm assuming that's sans-DLC) and get the DLC, it adds a lot of cool stuff to do to the game and enhances its replay value.
