Is it nerdy to want to play dungeons and dragons?

I used to play D&D when I was younger, and I would be lying if I said it didn't occaisionally come back to haunt me. I'm really lucky I stopped before I went LARPing or else I would never have heard the end of it. I think people perceive you differently when they discover that you have spent an time and money on LARP. I can sortof make a joke about the D&D now.

Is entertaining yourself by obsessing over hit points, armor class, and how to kill imaginary beasts with magic nerdy? Pretty much the very definition of it, yep. Who cares? It's awesome.
