Is it ok to find a fictional character sexy/attractive?

Absolutely nothing wrong with finding a fictional character either sexy or attractive. Feeling about them more than living things gets bit iffy though, and falling in love with them should not be done

Ok so by fictional I mean cartoon, video-game, book etc.

Anyway for a while now my friends have all stated that they think people who find cartoons attractive wrong. Yet all individually say they would find a person who looked like sed characters sexy.

This confuses me, basically they are being hypocrites yet when I say this they tell me they aren't "Because they aren't talking about the cartoon".

I realise many people do find fictional characters sexy (For example: many dubious websites) but I want to know what other people think about any moral implications it may have. Pesonally I see nothing wrong with it, but perhaps I am a minority.

P.S. I don't mean fictional characers like in movies, as it can be argued you simply find the actor/actress attractive instead.

Just offer them all a nice big cup of "Shut the fuck up" and tell em to think before they say something stupid

By all means, feel free-- I mean, how many schoolgirls have a crush on whats-his-name from Twilight? Just don't go overboard into 'crazy-ass stalker' territory, and it's just fine to get turned on by a fictional character. As long as it's not one of The Simpsons or anything from Futurama, I see nothing inherently wrong with it. If the character is portrayed well enough to create an impression of the kind of person you find sexy, attractive, adorable or whatever, then it's merely a sign that the creator of that character has doen a good job.

I think its better to say that its completely ok you can find any fictional characters sexy or attractive (after all its no different then finding a real person sexy/attractive, just without the fun), even from the Simpsons or Futurama just don't create porn out of it for me to accidentally stumble across and cause me to splatter my breakfast all over the keyboard >_>

regardless, the question was "is it ok", right? Answer: Yes. Yes, it is ok. But if it's in a real "I'm gonna marry Sakura from Naruto" kinda way, you might wanna try to keep it to yourself. It freaks some people out.
