Is it weird to get naked in front of animals?

I cant really say iv'e ever thought about it but now that i think about it i do always cover my self up with something if im ever getting changed or something in the same room as my dog. huh weird

Look at it from the animals perspective:

"Oh boy, Master is standing up! Are we going on a walk? Will he scratch me behind the ear? Oh he's just scratching himself. Maybe he got some of my fle- BY THE FOOD BOWL!! His FUR is coming off!! What's he doing to himself?! He's all smooth and... NO!! His leg fur too?! Why is he doing this to himself?! And now... sweet merciful Biscuit Box... he's putting on other fur!! It doesn't even smell like him!! Where did he get that from... it's... it's... I need my bone..."

Save your animal some discomfort. Don't get changed in front of them.

I've honestly never thought twice about changing in front of the roommate's cat, or in front of my old cat.

If anything it is weird being clothed around them. They're naked all the time, why would they be bothered by it?

I can't stand being naked in front of animals...And it doesn't help that two of my cats are stalkers; first cat is a male who follows me everywhere and whines when I don't let him follow me into the bathroom when I need to use the toilet or shower and when I do let him follow me in, he stares at my junk.

Eh, it just feels weird to me because to me the dog I have is more like a family member. But animals in general, it's not that weird. They're naked all the time, and seeing a naked person doesn't have the same effect on them as it does to another person.

Here's the situation: my dog sleeps in the same room as me so when I'm getting changed she's in there with me, staring at my junk. I figure she's too stupid to really understand what the difference between naked and clothed is.

Is this weird? Do you do the same? Are you as modest around animals as you are around people?

If this thread gets over 10 replies I'll get a job, ask out that girl from school I have a crush on, start going to the gym and just sort my life out in general. (Saying this because I know it will never happen)

I don't care. Even if the animal cared, I still wouldn't care. After all, they're naked in front of me, so fair's fair.

It may well feel weird to you. But i'm sure the animal doesn't care. As it doesn't have the cultural intent to repel the thought of something being naked. It will seem normal to the animal.
