This one time, I went to my room in a towel and my dog jammed her face up my ding dong.
I was shocked, and since then I NEVER undress near animals.
But the dogs themselves don't give a damn, after all they lick their private areas in public and poop right next to people all the time.

If you're stripping for the animal, yes it's very weird. If the animal somehow observes in the act of getting changed or something its not all that weird.

Well, my dog is always naked and the last thing I ever look at is his genitals. Luckily he's a Golden Retriever and his hair covers his genitals. Wouldn't it be the same for the dog? He wouldn't be the least bit interested in my genitals? Think about it. After all, he doesn't go smelling them like he does when he meets other dogs.

If I thought of my genitals as "junk", I wouldn't care who saw them.

Somehow I do find it weird. I always get the idea that when I do that, my cats are looking at me like this:

It's only weird if you do this.

and no I don't mind changing clothes in front of my dog.

Edit:

By the way...

If this thread gets over 10 replies I'll get a job, ask out that girl from school I have a crush on, start going to the gym and just sort my life out in general. (Saying this because I know it will never happen)
How's that working out for you?

Never underestimate the amount of time people on the internet have.

I'm just posting here so you'll get a damn job!

PSYCH (yes kids, I'm bringing psych back)

Yes, it's weird being naked in front of your pets. Mostly for cultural and psychological reasons, not because there's anything really wrong with your pet or nudity.

Well now I HAVE TO reply don't I? Sheesh.

I get nekkid in front of my cats all the time. Even if I was bothered by it and tried to close the door on them it would just make them pissy and they'd start scratching at the door and plaintively (and loudly) meowing. Annoys the shit out of me.

Animals are naked all the bloody time. I think they probably think us Pan Sapiens are an odd bunch who insist on putting clothes on for no good reason.

It does give me a bit of a start to step out of the shower to find one of them staring at me accusingly. (Y U WASH OFF MY SCENT? Now I have to rub myself all over you again, silly human.)
Haha, this is exactly what I was thinking!

I shower with the door open, because if I didn't, they'd flip out ninja style on the door.
Damn cats and their scent rubbing, getting hair all over my newly washed legs.

Not weird at all.

I've never cared when I was naked around my dog - and he did't seem to care as well,of course.

But I can imagine if one happens to act odd(from the pets viewpoint) whenever getting undressed
and throws the pet out of the room f.e., it might only make it curious because of the defensive behaviour on those occasions.
Like wanting to know why there seems to be such a big fuss about it. (might depend on the pets personality)

Oh, and best of Luck pursuing your crush.

Try having a dog walk in while your having sex. My ex's dog walked in on us once and sat and watched for god knows how long before we noticed him staring. Really creepy

I own 2 dogs, and 4 cats, so its a little hard to be somewhere in that house and be truly alone. That said, I always kick out the animals when its time to dress or do anything in the vicinity of a tub or toilet.

My Mom always told me I was weird for it, but, hey, if I'm not comfortable, I'm kickin' 'em out.

Actually yes, I don't really like being naked around my dog. Probably doesn't make sense but yeah.

What is that supposed to mean? What is there to "comprehend" about clothing? I dog knows when I'm going to take her for a walk depending on which clothes I wear (if I take on my jacket, she sprints to the door and waits for me there).

Since they don't wear clothes, there really isn't much else for them to comprehend.

I rather like the privacy of my own home, including from pets.
Not that I mind -that- much but it's the feeling of eyes I dislike.

Then again I only undress in the bathroom.. No animals in there really..

I don't like it, I fear my cat will mistake it for a plaything and so I generally face the other way and pretend she ain't there.

So good luck with that job/girlfriend/gym/life.

Anyways, way I see it, as long as you aren't dangling them in front of the animals like a couple of wrinkly chew toys, there isn't anything wrong with it.

One of my dogs I dont care because she doesn't seem to give a shit and barely pays attention to me anyway, the other one just sits there...and stares...I usually force her out before I change.
